I use coil gunking juice so sometimes I use 2 wicks a day, the most I get before dry burning is a day and a 1/2

But as I have said, I found the same juice with cotton wool the flavour seemed to dip before I needed to dry burn. Much prefer the round yarn I've sent over cotton wool
and the Rico tape over the yarn.

Posting this just to let people know what not to buy. I got some Braided Cotton from Amazon thats used for candle making. It's unwaxed and natural, but it is too dense for rebuildable wicks. When we use cotton wool, it is light and fluffy. The space between fibres allows the liquid to wick well and provide good flavour. So far my trials with yarn have not been good because the fibres are too close together, which provides strength needed for a yarn, but has the downside of muting the flavour for a wick.
In the Aiolos (Spheroid), I have now gone for Bastos wick, which is more stable than cotton wool and lasts longer, but really soaks up the juice to provide good flavour.

I use the rico fashion summer lace in micro coils, All my drippers and some kayfuns and my Rose all sport the stuff. It's a doddle to change out and you can cut to size keeping wastage to a minimum. I find it provides a much better flavour than normal cotton wool.
Well worth a try

Tip- if you wrap a single micro coil around a 1.8-2mm tool you can easily fit a single strand of lace through it
If you wrap a single micro coil around a 3mm tool then you can double up and run two strands through it.
I've stocked up here, I have about 15 balls of the stuff
That's worth about 10000 re-wicks

hmm that sounds interesting as I normally do 2mm silica in a loop with cotton wool - sandwiched in centre - on a 3mm microcoil in my spheroids....

Just got off the phone to DIL and she will get me 50 metres tomorrow. I misheard her when she told me the price off the top off her head. Apparently it's 5p a metre not 25p. Let's hope the top of her head is right.

This vaping just gets more & more expensive

I will have a look at this at vapefest sounds good but I wonder what will come up before we get there might be half a dozen different yarns by then I will bring my different ones whatever I have by then as I will be fixing vamos on the campsite no charge

Did I read somewhere you like ViviNovas as I have some that you can have.
