VTR textured wrap (mosaic)

Just finished wrapping my VTR.

 

As you can see I lost all the lovely chrome at the top and bottom. So I trimmed it to give some back.

 

Much nicer I thick youll agree.

prr from j-wraps themselves in the US. Only real place that has a lot of choice for the VTR.

Yes it feels pretty good. The texture gives it some added grip, and this may sound funny but its not so cold when you pick it up.

Yeah I know that hijack that's why I love my leather wrap from vapor lady lounge...

And have cotton to crochet more wraps

How easy was it to fit the wrap? I dont want to mess it up.......

hijack - looks very nice, well done - now all you need to do is buy a couple more & wrap them with other designs/colours

It was easier than I thought it was going to be. I started at the LCD display, and once that was square the rest just went round without a problem. I did use heat to make it shrink fit the top and bottom chrome sections as these have a slight contour on them and the heat shrinks the vinyl slightly so it takes up the shape better. But I still didn't like the way it covered all the chrome so I got the scalpel out and ran it along the seams of the VTR to end up with what you see in the last 2 pics.

Well I have that one I showed in the other thread for the SVD, but everyone said ''don't do it'' so I put it back in the envelope and stuck it in a draw so I don't get tempted
