Just a quick question. How often are people swapping out the cotton in their micro coil builds?

Usually once a week or sooner if needed.

I used to do it every tank, but now I'm using spheroids things and I forget. Every few tanks seems ok.

Hmm, I must be doing something wrong! I'm having to swap mine out daily as performance is gradually dropping off throughout the day!

Every two or three tanks for me - but as it's so cheap, and I'm forever changing flavours, it only takes a couple of minutes to do along with a quick rinse and dry burn, so I am more than happy with that if it means top notch flavour!!

I'm only using cotton wool, not tried any of the cotton yarn and I change once a week unless I am vaping custard then I change daily m

I'm using a Kayfun 3.1 clone and a Vamo. My coils are usually 1.2ohm and I'm normally somewhere between 8 and 10 watts with a 50 PG/50 VG juice. I find that I have to change the cotton every 2 tank fulls (~8mls). I don't think I've got this quite right because I think I should be at about 12 watts for 3.7ish volts...

Aerotank and aspire mini vivi nova. 10 wrap 0.3mm kanthal @1.5-1.6 ohms. Every time I pull the cotton out its pretty gunked up. I'm vaping either JJ caramel or JJ cheesecake 50/50 and both these gave the standard aspire heads wicking problems.
I was vaping some chefs vapour quite heavily over the weekend and ended up changing the cotton at the end of each day!

You mean I have to change my Cotton!!!!!

So that's where I have been going wrong, was just developing a taste for burnt cinder wick as well.....

Small tanks i change the coil/cotton after 4 fills
Large tanks i change the coil/cotton after 3 fills

Only because i like to keep a fresh coil and wick.
