Hey so I've since started rebuilding hoping to save money on coils each month . Got me two kayfun clones and after struggling to get the right amount of cotton to avoid dry hits , I'm pretty much there . Build a couple of coils using 0.3 kanthal which is 28g right ? Any hoo getting to around 1.3 to 1.4 and am enjoying it .
We popped to a local shop today which is grey haze in brum . And spoke to the guys there , my other half treated me to a copper stingray and I got some 30 amp Sony vtc4 batteries . So I'm right in thinking I'm going to be pretty safe with this set up ? I check all the coils I build by using the MVP to read before I fire . Any tips ? Or advice to keep me totally safe? Concerned about not noticing when the battery is getting low

law - you'll know -the 'bite' in the vape dies away, and that's the time to swop over batteries. I tend to swop my 18650s when I get home from work, and then they only need about 90 mins in the charger to show green. As long as you don't vape below 1ohm and change batteries regularly, you should be quite safe.

Concerned about not noticing when the battery is getting low The vtc4's are safe down to 0.2 ohms which is why people like me use them. As said, you'll feel the vape quality tail off a bit as they run down but they do take some serious vaping to run down. 28G is 0.32mm kanthal www.technick.net/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=guide_awg_to_metricThe trick with cotton is to not have it to tight through the coil, I usually feed it through then drag it back and forth a bit to fluff it up and make sure it's not jammed in, then it just needs to rest lightly on the decks at either side of the coil platform, just at the tops of the juice channels that come up the sides.

Thanks guys , just wanted to make sure I'm safe but I'm not into sub ohming yet , only got to 1.2 lowest , just wanted to make sure that I'm safe If I divide the volts say off a fresh battery that's 4.2 and divide it by the ohms does that give me the amps it's pulling from the battery ?

Now have the app which is wicked so I would need a battery that had no less than three amps but I've been told to multiply it by 3 so I'm not stressing the battery . Loving the copper sting grey for sure !
