Outrageous that, the kind of thing that opens the door to the bully state to come in and start looking after our interests for "our own good" because we are all dafties....They should be drummed out of business

i stayed up till 3 am to listen to the live debate on vapetv which went on till after 5am and i am sorry to say it but the CEO did nothing during the live debate to install public confidence. He did how ever let every one know he was a CEO of 3 company's many many times and then went of topic.

Given the nature and possible impact this could have on vaping as a whole i would have expected him to take the following action

1. Stop trading whilst more stringent procedures are put in place.
2. Recall all liquid from the batch and since.

i felt he did not say anything that would make me feel confident in his ability to prevent this in the future. I am not having a go at Brad here i am simply explaining how i feel the debate went and what i feel he should have done.
At no point did he take command of the situation and say we have a problem but you know what we are going to fix that problem. I hope he can recover from this but i think vendors who get stock from him now need to look at what they have as this could be so wide spread.

If the national media gets on this then the FDA has a massive amount of ammunition for a reason to prevent nicotine sellers. self regulation is simply not enough for this type of seller when the raw ingerdients can kill if got wrong.
I was shocked and horrified at how easy this situation came about. But when you look at it its easy for a new vaper to get him or her self in harms way buy buying DIY kits with not a clue on how really dangerous the product they are mixing really is.

we can all learn so many lessons here. I have expressed my thoughts as a consumer on a public forum because i feel that this issue needs to be addressed.

Self Regulation will work as long as the hymm sheet we are all singing from is the same.

I hope and prey no one gets ill from this. so please if you suspect that you may have some liquid you feel is not right Dispose of it your health and well being is far more important.

Glad to hear you say that. I think that users, retailers and wholesalers
(especially the reputable wholesalers) would be united in wanting to
drive out cowboys like Box elder from the business - for the sake of
their own business.

I read today that doctors want to ban smoking in cars, so we can be
aure that the last thing we want is the attention of the gubbermint and
the medical profession imposing their ideas about safety on the rest
of us.

OMG! The stupid bloody ignorant a**wipes! We put our trust in our suppliers and have to hope that they are supplying what they say they are. I only know the nic content is too high for me if I start to get a sicky or headachey feeling when I'm vaping - normally if I try to vape 36mg, and I am aware that many happily vape 36 mg + so probably wouldn't notice if their nic content was considerably higher.

This company is most definitely on my 'not to be used in a million years' list

Took me an hour correcting all the mistakes in the very big long message I was typing to reply to you ..... then I figured sod that, you folks are clever and can work it out and I've got way better things to do with my time than worry about spelling so the only part of the message thats left is ....

Had a look at the thread and it looks like it`s just the VG affected and not the PG so chances are that not enough water in the VG ,if the maker has not added enough or any water to the glycerol the nicotine will soon float to the top.
For nicotine to stay mixed with glycerol it must have water added or the two will separate making the top of the mix very high in nicotine and the bottom low.so if the vender mixed a 20lt batch and is decanting from the bottom the first 3/4 of the batch will be low in nicotine and the top 1/4 will be far to high hence the diffrent strengths seen in tests

Pure Nicotine mixes fine with PG and stays mixed
Pure Nicotine mixes fine with glycerol as long as it has enough water added and it will stay mixed
