Loving the thread mine is quite boring and is simply the name I gave myself when I started dating my now husband who's surname is a Mc 247 is just what I use at the end of my tag if the standalone Mrsmac is already taken. coincidently my husbands tag name is usually MrMac for most things

Another obvious one here, but not something I thought of using until a few years after starting to use t'internet.

I used to play a game ([::] if Project Rockstar means anything to you!) that encouraged you to have multiple accounts to try different strategies. I felt like a new account one day and really couldn't think of anything to use, so Bren_D it was. That just happened to be the account I stumbled into the forum on (my first online home until the bar stewards behind GTA had us shut down and the only other forum I've found to be as friendly as AAE-C) and the name stuck.

My Great Niece called me this whilst trying to smile at me when she was in hospital being treated for type one diabetes,she was 2yrs old at the time,she's now 6 and insulin dependant.We all didn't think she would recover,as she had been so poorly and cried "no more needles" as the doctors were treating her.She had been rushed into hospital and was in a coma for three days,the home doctor had treated her for a urinary infection,but never picked up on the tell tale signs of diabetes.
Oh I love orang-utans and so does she.

Well technically it should be jaytey JT As the C is my maiden name but it doesn't sound as good even the T is wrong cos I got divorced many moons ago and never got round to changing it back ! Confused

A few years ago I used to do a little graffiti (on paper, never walls ) and my chosen 'tag' was cHooBe (reading as 'tube') which then became my Xbox and Playstation gamertag and people always called me choobey whenever I played online. My bro-in-law started calling me choobey-doo (as in Scooby-Doo) so it became my new gamertag and has stuck ever since

I always thought it was 'coz we we were 'Strangers in the Night'....

My old OC once wanted to use 'roughshod' in a report about me. The Company Clerk suggested 'ripshod' as a not so obvious and less derogatory alternative.

That was 18 years ago and I still can't shake it off!!
