Do I presume that the ready made BOGOF is still going on for the 30ml size bottles ????

Hello all I have emailed Jim at JJ . I explained that a few of us had emailed him to clarify the B.O.G.O.F and here is the reply that I have received Hi Sue, Firstly, please pass on my sincere apologies to those who mailed and didn't get a reply. For about two months now there has been an intermittent issue in our service providers mail servers. Some mails haven't been getting through to us while others have been dumped straight into the Spam folder. It's been causing us some serious headaches. We're not ignoring anyone, we're simply not getting the mails. The discount code for the concentrates is the same as that for the e-liquids "AAEC12" The BOGOF for the concentrates has changed slightly. We were getting a lot of requests that we increase the strength of the concentrates rather than give a BOGOF on the concentrates. Apparently some of our DIY mixers were building up quite a collection of bottles and running out of storage space. So we doubled the strength of the concentrates so that one 30ml bottle now equals the concentrate strength of 2 x 30ml bottles under the old BOGOF. I have to admit the change hasn't met with universal approval as some customers prefer the old BOGOF for various reasons. We're currently looking at a way of trying to offer both the old BOGOF on the concentrates and the double strength concentrates for those who prefer that option. Problem is, we don't see how we can run both the old BOGOF and the new double strength concentrates at the same time without causing a lot of confusion. Best Wishes Jim Just got 4 bottles of the 'new double strength' concentrate from Jim but the bottles are labelled exactly the same as the ones I already have with no mention of the increased strength so I was wondering if anyone had used these yet and if you really do need to use half the concentrate as I cant taste much difference using the trusty finger test. TBH it is not a big deal if the BOGOF has came to an end as it is still good value but I dont want to mix it @ 10% if it is going to turn out really weak and I end up having to add another 10% later when I could just use the same 20% mix from the off. Any comments on this would be appreciated as I am doing another mega mix in the next few days and cant make up my mind what way to go with this ???

I bought 30ml of black current concentrate expecting to get 60ml and when I queried it Jim advised it was double strength as said above.
Now I've not had this flavour before but I added 0.1ml to 3ml of red Astaire and the black current is quite prominent so I'd have little doubt it's double strength.
Having said that I'd still prefer the BOGOF and the original strengths.

Thanks Greg That's what Jim told me too but when the bottle arrived it was labelled exactly the same as the standard strength so made me a little wary. Agree that it was better with the old BOGOF as I mix everything in 50ml bottles so it was just a case of 40ml of 24mg premixed base and a squirt of concentrate to 50ml giving me a very lazy 18ish mg @ 20% which seems to work for me with most concentrates

Sent JJ a couple of emails about this a couple of months ago with no responce! I believe that concentrates are not included in the BOGOF deal. My last purchase from them/him was a 30ml concentrate and I recieved 1 30ml bottle with a label on the side saying "strong", or something like that, as alzheimer's encroaches its dificult to remember. In use the concentrate was ok, nothing to rave about nor anything to complain about, It was anything but strong! I think this is another case of somebody going into business with the best intentions then struggling with the reality of it all.

Forgot about this.
Recent conc purchases were all 10ml, guess they are double strength?
Oops mixed them all at 20%, no wonder the cinnamon turned out ridiculously strong, using at 5% now in mix, and thinking of lowering.
Might explain why other flavours ain't suiting much either, though don't seem so strong.

It doesn't appear to be double strength to me. I mixed at half the strength of my normal mix and after steeping could taste very little. So I have now mixed at the normal 20/25% and it's about right. I too preferred the bogof but according to Jim's reply to my email, mixers didn't like storing the extra bottles !!!!!!!
