I'm with EE. NO problems really. I'm fibre optic and its good. If you do ring up, it goes to India which is a pain but staff are very helpful once they been through their flow charts. Its their time and money so I don't mind so much!

Tell plusnet what you can get and see if they'll at least match it. You wont be on a contract with them unless you started a new one after the original ran out, if not then you're just using their service but not actually contracted. You can often swing a better deal when starting a new contract too.

I'm not on a contract with plusnet enjay. I can cancel at anytime but been with them for years. Need to phone plusnet for MAC code and think I have 14 days cooling off? Just wondered. ...Noticed a lot of cashback sites for EE after finding the MSE offer but hey ho Jane

I had crap speeds with them, they slowed the connection down at peak times and I had constant outages in the service. When I complained they told me that I had the fastest speed my line could take. I dumped them last month and went with BT, constant connection and 3 times the speed that EE told me my line could take Avoid

Yeah heard alot of that online blakey. Plus net has it's moments and often buffering with itunes is rubbish.. Don't know why that is Jane Plusnet have been consistent with me, I can phone them at any time too day or night and get good service. I've had engineers round a few times looking for an intermittent fault that has eventually been found thankfully but yeh, always really helpful and usually sort any issues out fairly quick. The actual router you use in the house can have a big impact on your line speed too, sometimes it's good to just switch it off and leave it unplugged for a few hours. It's like info gets confused between it and the exchange or something but leaving it unplugged for a bit is good way to reset it thoroughly. A neighbour was with BT but had endless problems, she has now switched to plusnet and her internet has never been better especially for such a long length of time. We're out in the middle of nowhere as well so if they can give us decent internet then it's impressive. I'm actually at the max limit from the exchange myself.

I was out of contract and used a few of the comparison sites to get their lowest price on a like for like package.
I then phoned my current supplier ( Virgin Media ) and bartered £11-00/month off my current bill on a 12 month contract for exactly the same services. :DHelps pay the juice bill.

Not for me.
Our family uses EE for mobile ONLY and the "old" Orange ISP around here was the worst for speeds.
However, if it's fibre optic, could be good.

I was with BT for years and the costs kept going up, was worried about changing as even though it was expensive the speed etc was good.
So glad I finally changed to EE, easy change over, third of the price of BT and internet speed etc is exactly the same as BT.

I've just gone back to BT from Primus Saver (Talktalk) and I'm now enjoying speeds that aren't possible on my line, according to Talktalk.
Seems to depend on whether your provider can be bothered to actually test the line speed.
I use EE Mobile Broadband out and about. Works out a little expensive but it's 100% more reliable than BT wifi.

I have the EE broadband home phone and mobile. Never have a problem and I like the fact I can have unlimited anytime calls not just after 7pm !
