Perpetua & lairey I received my CCW Digestive today and was wondering what percentage you guys use as it smells quite a strong concentrate?

I've not actually used it in a recipe yet MarkS, I've mixed up a tester @15% but not tried it yet... I'll fish it out and try it tomorrow and let you know my thoughts

Thanks lairey. I'll probably just do a mix at 10% like i always do, but it did strike me as rather strong on the nose. Smells just like a diggy bicky though.

I tried it at 15% . . . but I think that's a little too high for my tastes MarkS, next lot I mix it'll be around the 10-12% region. It's a very authentic biccie taste though.

Thought it was one of their stronger flavours. Will definitely go with 10% now. Thanks for the info Perpetua

Its a background flavour..... 5% to 8% behind a fruit flavour is nice! It depends on the strength of the flavour you are adding it to.... But it is really authentic.

Just started on my Rambuttan MarkS . . . I like it. Can't quite decide what it tastes of, sweet(ish), slightly citrusy lychee maybe - but it makes a nice change.

I'm still the same as you with Rambutan and styill cannot quite put my finger on what it reminds me of. Totally agree on it making it a nice change. Overall I'm very impressed with the CCW Eastern Magic Pack as the Guava, Lychee & Kaffir Lime are all very nice flavours on their own too.

Cheers Frogster, that's good to know. I have 5ml as a standalone and 5ml mixed with Milk Chocolate steeping mixed at 10%. I'm wondering if it would go well with some black tea. Sounds & smells like a concentrate you can have a lot of fun.

Perpetua. Been on the Rambutan all day again today and think I know what the taste reminds me of. Its kind of like a really sweet Rhubarb, kind of like a Rhubarb & Custard sweet without the custard?

Now that's spooky MarkS . . . as I've only been thinking myself today, wonder what it's like with some VC as an alternative to Rhubarb, as it's got that slightly sharp/sour tang to it!

She does a very nice Digestive Biscuit flavour that until recently wasn't on the Home site - thanks to Kev ( The Alchemists Cupboard ) it is now. Be interested to hear the response, in the meantime think I best buy some on Amazon if you think it's going to be that yummy. I've tried two mixes so far from the eliquids I made using the digestive biscuit concentrate. One was 10% CCW Digestive & 12% Inawera Milk Chocolate, which wasn't unpleasant but lacked flavour. The 2nd mix I've tried is 20% CCW Digestive and 10% CCW Condensed Milk which is very nice. A bit like digestive creams. Glad I bought it. The treacle mixes I've done so far have been disappointing.
