Ok peeps. Time for a chortle, chuckle or huge belly laugh.

i have been vaping for over a year, properly now for several months.

ive tried lots of different juices. And I've tried different nic strength juices.

now some I liked some I didn't.

ive gradually reduced the nic levels, I just vape a bit more I suppose, but today........going from 11 or 6 nic went up to 16 nic and hey, guess what? 

Ive discovered that the nic content alters the taste. (and I prefer flavour to nicotine   ) now I know what I didn't like about the taste of stinkies

In between a Rock an a Wossname on this one! I am more pleasured by the Flavour but I find if I drop below 24mg I don't get enough nic'. I suppose I could try a slow reduction and aim to be at 12mg in 6 months or so, see how that went and maybe do it with swapping between different flavours in different strength of Nicotine, take away the "This is Normal" hurdle.

Don't forget other factors that play with both taste and nicotine absorption....

There's a world of difference between say, a Kanger MT3, a Kayfun and a Trident (for instance) RDA....

For instance, I vaped between 24mg/ml and 18mg in my first clearos (MT3, until I observed the polycarbonate degrading) but when I was using RBA's and I put 18mg RY4 into it I was whoa - that's way too much nicotine (hint, 12mg is the most you ever want to vape in a Kayfun - absorption is much higher)....

Likewise flavour - a standard Protank head vs one you've rebuilt..... Big difference... Then try the same in a Kayfun or a nice RDA and you'll never go back.

Not sure this post is remotely helpful so mark it under the `just saying` category in case it inspires a reader to experiment some more.

If you mix your own liquid you can drop a mg or 2 very easily without noticing the drop and do this gradually say every couple of months or so until your levels are quite a bit lower than 24mg.

I started on 18mg and only just started mixing my own liquid around 5/6 months ago and by gradually decreasing the nic level over this period of time I am now down to 10mg.

You can't really achieve this with pre-mixed liquid, you have to take bigger nic level drops than the 1 or 2mg so it's harder to reduce your nic intake.

toots - totally agree with regard to mixing your own, managing the nic drop is just so much easier. I started at 18mg and am now down to 8mg, with the occasional 10mg mix, and I have hardly noticed the difference until I use up a dreg from my juice box and it's 16mg for example. Head rush, chestiness and general displeasure with the whole experience. I'm hoping that this means that I am successfully reduced now, and I would have found this much harder only buying shopmade juices.

To be honest, I have so much pre-mixed stuff in stock (Juice Whore!) that there is no point in mixing my own for a few months again now. I will do the odd mix here and there but my stocks are pretty much all at 24mg so it'll be a while before i drop the nic' levels yet.
