Good afternoon everyone! A little background on myself. Have wanted to cut down on cigarettes for a while due to cost, married, three children so money tight. Been a 20 a day smoker for over 25 years. I have tried stopping a few times, but patches, gum etc. just don't cut it for me. I stumbled on e-cigarettes last weekend by complete accident and on Sunday 13th November I ordered a starter kit from SKYCig. It arrived Tuesday 15th in the morning. I had no intention of stopping smoking, just to get a pack of regular cigarettes to last three days. Well, I have not smoked a real cigarette since Tuesday! My wife and kids are delighted, and I'm determined to keep it up! My problems and questions are these: I bought the SKYCig simply because I could understand what I was looking at. Battery, screw in top bit (now I understand this to be the cartomizer), smoke. It even came with what looked like a real pack that I could keep in my pocket. Fantastic. Then I went to work. I have a good hour and a half drive to work in the morning and again in the evening, due to really heavy traffic. Problem 1 - Battery Life, more specifically lack of Problem 2 - I'm easy going through 2 cartomizers a day during the week, today will easily be 3. Problem 3 - Charging, have to charge the case first, then the batteries, and not very efficient. I started searching the web and discovered this forum and am in complete awe as to how helpful everyone is. I have been online since the Tandy 1400 Now that I have a little better understanding of the e-cigarette world and vaping I think I have narrowed down what I should have really got in the first place, but would like some advice please. I think I have narrowed my choice down to these; - E-Power 510 - 18650 Bundle from Liberty Flights
or the - Riva 510 - Special Edition from Liberty Flights
Things I need help deciding; Need a decent battery, especially because of my long drive. A base product that I can customize and tailor to my needs. If you have read this far I really thank you. Willing to listen to any advice. Many thanks in advance. Andrew.

Hello, a warm welcome & well done Andrew! You can't go wrong really with a Riva, but that said an 18650 mod of some description will have a much better battery run time. The E-Power is ok, it depends what version LF have in stock as there have been improvements since it's introduction. As size of an ecig doesn't seem to bother you, I'd maybe suggest going for a more robust 18650 mod, if budget allows and you feel that you have mastered the concept of ecigs sufficiently well. . . which you certainly appear to have done.

Hello Andrew and welcome :-) sounds like you got on quite far on your own, well done :-) I will leave the buying of a new device to the ones who 'really know' their stuff to best help you, won't be long and someone will be here.

Hello & welcome Andy Sounds like you have done so well with the little Sky cig. However, you are right, battery life isn't good at all on any of the small e-cigs. I've read a few mixed reviews on the e-power. O think at one time there was problems with the button sticking. However, other folks seem to love it The Riva is a good all rounder & you will find battery life so much better than with your sky cig. I think the sky cig is only about 180 mAh, whereas you can get a Riva with 1100 mAh. Off to check Liberty Flights price for the Riva & see if I can find a better deal for you

Okey Dokey Andrew, if you decide to go for the Riva, there is very little difference price wise between the Liberty Flights Special edition & the following one from Vape Escape. However, the Vape Escape one comes with higher mAh batteries - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-1100-deluxe-kit-%5Bideal-for-beginners%5D~151Use discount code "allabout" for 10% off from Vape Escape. Use discount code ECR69 for 15% off from Liberty Flights.

Hi and welcome Andy,
I have both the Riva and the E-Power and both are great e-cigs. But the much bigger battery on the E-power seems more in line with what you are looking for. Also the ability to buy separate spares is great.

Hello and welcome Andrew, well done you are doing brilliantly already!! I started on the ciggie look alike , but soon got fed up with the battery life, so went on to a tornado, very much like the Riva. Happy vaping

Hi Andrew, I can't add much to what's been said already, so I'll just say "welcome to the AAE-C".
