Coiling supplies...

Read the guides and know everything I need, but can I get all the tools and coil supplies from one place? Fasttech?

Not really. Depends on what you are coiling though.

For cotton wool, tweezers, nail clippers etc I suggest your local supermarket is the quickest way, and if you sneak it into the shopping trolley you can get them with your weekly shop and mrs custard may not notice

A 2mm drill bit for wrapping coils and a 1mm (or 1.5mm) bit for seating coils (if you're doing Kanger heads) from b&q and you're sorted - stick a cheap pair of snipe-nosed pliers in your basket as well for those heavy duty needs.

Amazon for a blowtorch, but it's not absolutely needed.

Will be ordering a coiling buddy lite next Friday so won't need a drill bit so need:

Kanthal
Tweezers
18 gauge needle
Blowtorch
Nail clippers
cotton wool

Anything else?

jackcustard the place ionian linked is best to get kanthal, you want A1 grade they do 10m for £1.90 and if you get 5 you get 1 free.
So you can get .25 .28 .30 .32 .35 ect
You can get one of these from FT


And from wilko £2 these are good. All the diameters you may want to wind your coils plus you can even use them on the screws in your atty's

That should do it jackcustard Just grab some cotton wool from boots (baby range) or 1 of the other places and your good to go

I would still recommend that other place for kanthal for future very good on price.
