Red/Black Astaire

After seeing and hearing about this so called " black astaire " tonight hubby decided to make some......already had some red mixed up and added about 6 drops of blackcurrant concentrate...

OMG why have I waited this long to taste this...I was shock horror going off RA......but the blackcurrant really makes it alive again...so we go from a Cherry Tune to a Blackcurrant tune......scrummy yummy deffo something I will be vaping on a daily basis......

I think I might have a dabble with some Affro.....as again kinda getting bored of it......apart from Menthol what have other ever added to it to make a nicer taste????

I love Blackcurrant Deb, think I'll certainly be trying this as I'm a bit bored with RA as it is - gave my vaping friend the last of mine yesterday as it's been hanging around in my steeped container and was beginning to irritate me.

How about something citrusy with your Afro - thinking Grapefruit/Lemon or Lime?

Ohhhh I have some Lemon and Lime and then different ones of each...key lime etc...I think that has to be worth a dabble...better than it sitting in the cupboard doing nothing lol....
The blackcurrant makes Red taste very different indeed.....much better in my opinion I used to love Red....but of late been getting a little urggg about it.....this livens it back up and is like a Blackcurrant tune.........bit like a new flavour to fall in love with

Sounds good. Where do you get the blackcurrant from?

I added a few drops of RA to a mixed fruit mix that I had, tasted nice and...fruity.

I have 2 blackcurrants...one is Joose Juice the other The Perfumers Apprencite
Made some more up last night and put a little more Blackcurrant into it......plus some uber strong menthol ( Global Warming ) Yummy....its all I have vaped since 11 this morning

It makes a ton of difference, I used to love RA.....but this makes it into a whole new juice....and its yummy

Red Astaire will be the base for adding a lot of subtle & not so subtle concentrates, so I can line them up in my 10 Evods & do a comparison vape contest

Sorry to drag up an old thread.....but ive been vaping somthing called "The Black" by Zeus Juice UK & its lovely...Ive been told its basically Black Astaire, which Im guessing is what youre all on about.
I'd like to try & make my own, but im conffuddled a bit....is it a separate recipie or is it red astaire with a few drops of blackcurrent added ??
Just wondering where a recipie is for it (google search brought me here!)

I normally mix RA at 20% markus . . . . so to turn it into ' Black Astaire ' then I drop to 15% and add 5% of Blackcurrant.


If you mix it at a lower percentage to start with, I'd adjust the Blackcurrant ratio accordingly.


Whether that's anything like The Black, that I couldn't tell you never having tried it . . . . . .

Thanks Perpetua, as drunkenbum has said, is that all it is ? Or is it better to start with red astaire first ? I'll need to buy some red astaire concentrate first if so (yet another one to buy !!)
Ive got some blackcurrant concentrate & inawera Anyz which I think is aniseed....only difference is the purple colour, & im not fussed about adding that.
