Sounds like a short circuit Rodga Don't use the Smokeymizer on any other battery.

Well, I've read reports about the Smokeymiser's not doing the Riva batteries any good Rodga . . . but I thought that was more to do with the switching on the Riva as opposed to a Tornado. I wonder if the Smokeymiser has pushed the connection on your Tornado battery down a bit? Have you been overtightening it on? It might be worth trying, to very gently raise the connection on your battery, with a paperclip and see if that works. Edit to say: Best to ignore my thoughts as Jason has far more technical knowledge than me.

Sounds like a battery fault, maybe caused by the smokymizer? Do you have other batteries? Ditch the smokymizer and try a fresh one. Leave the battery for 24 hours then try charging again sometimes they do come back to life......... but only sometimes.

A short circuit will kill any battery that doesn't have protection built in. Unfortunately, this includes eGo-T and Riva batteries (as well as most others excepting high end mods like the Provari).

Cheers guys, seems like it might be time to rise up to a high end mod, went through 3 x 510 batts in a week! getting kinda expensive...
