Help with Patriot dripper

Is there a usual problem with the patriot I should be aware of?

My Patriot is not working, no matter what coil I put in (home made or pre-built) it won't fire, it's registering @1.1 ohms but still won't fire.

If I put it on the vamo it won't fire on that either, on the vamo when I press the fire button the display just comes up with 1.1 ohms no matter what I have it set to display.

Please help

build i higher ohm build it might be that the vamo wont fire so low

Has it worked in the past?
Have you tried it on a mech?
Have you tested the coil resistance on anything other than a vv/vw mod?

Yep its worked for the past couple of weeks, its been used on a nemmy, always tested on vamo first ( answered as brad driving )

As its reading the resistance on the vamo, then I would say the patriot is ok as it passes a small current through the coil to do the measuring. So it should work on the nemi as long as the contacts are being made.
Not sure how the vamo reads a short both my vv/vw read --- when there is a short.
I take it you've tried swaping it onto nemi? If not then its probably like decoy and Geordie say and the resistance is too low for it to fire on the vamo.

Mech mech mech, love a mech, go low and vape on like you know what you're doing ha ha!


Some regulated devices will fire down to 0.8 ohms but most wont, some of the newer box mods will actually fire down to about 0.5 ohms but you really can't beat a mech for dripping imo.

1.1 is definitely too low for a vamo - think mine fires at 1.3, but not below.

Does it work on the nemi? (Daft question, but - The nemi has got a charged battery in it?)

Thanks folks, managed to get it going again now, don't know what was up with it, it stopped firing after I tried a nano coil set-up, tried other coils including pre-made, but nothing would fire, even on the nemmy, seems to be working now, maybe not as strong as it was but it's firing.

Hey, what nemmy, you never mentioned a nemmy.   Stick the patriot on that instead and a regular tank on the vamo.

It is, it only gets put on the vamo to test, till i get my ohm tester, aerotank mega is on the vamo

Got any sony vtc's yet? I've got my patriot set up with dual coils at 0.12ohms just now, drilled the air holes to 2mm and it's superb, not to hot or anything.
