One genuine KFL+ and one of the new V2 clones from FT...



Sitting on a couple Nemesis clones...

Might have to take them apart though as they are seriously sub-ohm coils.  Neither will fire on my DNA30...  And I don't have a resistance checker that will check them (Neither SID nor Vamo nor DNA seem to see the resistance)...

The one on the left is the real one, the one on the right is the clone.

I'm also going on the size of the chamfers on the shoulders, the size of the o-rings and the diameter of the vapour chamber. All slightly different.

Correct. The one on the right is the new V2 clone from FT. It's a very nice clone, and I am impressed. Just need to get a decent coil in it to really try it out.

They are both rocking the PC tank from FT too (https://www.fasttech.com/p/1663600) which I prefer by miles. I like to see exactly how much juice I have left, lol. And for £1 vs £15 for the C9V ones, they are a bit of a bargain.

So much so, in fact, that as I am about to order a resistance checker anyway, I might pop another couple in the basket, along with another V2 clone, such is the quality.

Do I need to pop round again over the weekend then with some 0.34mm kanthal? Set you up with a couple of 1 ohm coils

Ha ha ha. I have put in an order for appropriate sized kanthal now (although forgot the 0.34mm, just went for some 0.30 and 0.32). Hopefully be with me soon.

I tried some of my 0.5 kanthal, 8 wraps, but think its too small...

Yeh that'll be about 0.35ohms or so, maybe 0.4 but definitely to low for a regulated mod. 0.32 is decent for a lot of coils though, you can do parallels and everything with it

Got my 0.32 Kanthal through the post today. Test coiled my Igo-W (had to get shot of that 0.2 Ohm coil I'm afraid), and got a 1 Ohm dual coil straight off the bat. That should work well in most of my mods now. Sweet.

Not to re-coil all my Kayfuns / Kayfun clones...

You ruined me enjay...

After vaping away with my 1 ohm dual coil Igo-W for a couple days, I realised it was pish. So re-coiled it down to 0.8 ohm. Still nae good. Back down to around 0.5 ohm for me then when I'm dripping.

Good thing I bought another load of the Sony VTC's...
