Haven't got mine yet but just wondering if there's enough rom to stick insulting tape on inside of battery tube at the top so the if the magnet does move it will touch the tape and prevent shorting against the body ?

Greg, just checked for you and there is enough room. I haven't bothered with the glue but think I will use your idea about the tape...thanks for the suggestion

Looks lovely but seems a bit of a faff .

Tank on, battery in, screw switch on , vape . That's what I want .

I think you pretty much can. Maybe a slightly smaller battery magnet would avoid having to cut off some of the wrapper on the bottom of the battery.

all mech mods have there quirks i like the look of it

no locking ring is a no go for me though, sure version 2 or 1.5 or somthing with have some sort of locking feature though, and if it gets made to 22mm then i am going to be all over it

i am positive everyones will work fine will just need a bit of tinkering to it.

As geordie_vaper says I spent over an hour yesterday setting up my stingray to use with flattop batteries. First I put the battery in positive side up like my nemi. Then thought, why would they make the button contact bowl shaped. ??? then finaly the penny dropped and one 5mm magnet on the positive end of a flattop and positive side down and all works well.
