Sub zero temperatures will be here in a few weeks and I'll have to spend a couple of hours a day stuck outside in them, Last winter I kept mine in my shirt pocket but I love the cold & I rarely need to zip my coat up so it's not much of a problem but it got me wondering - How do people keep their juice from freezing in their carto's/tanks?

What is the freezing point of PG/VG? That might help us determine just hold cold we can go before worrying? Edit with PG: Melting point is -59 Celsius, so we should be OK there...

Now this is going to be interesting as i had never considered this before.I suppose we could always make a mini hot water bottle mod for our tanks?

I would have thought the main problem would be various flavourants freezing out of solution. I guess you could always chuck a bottle in the freezer and see what happens...

It will get thick, Dom, but it won't freeze. When I'm out in freezing weather, I keep my 2 PVs inside my glove. The heat from my hand keeps them warm and they are easy to get to.

I store my supplies of spare juice in the freezer Blakey, it never freezes solid, it'll just get thicker as Jerry says. . . it keeps indefinitely that way as well. Anti-freeze contains glycerin don't forget and flavourants are also generally in carrier PG, some of which can separate out over a period of time . . . but for everyday cold weather, the heat from your wee bod should be enough to keep the juice perfectly usable.

I know perpy, I froze a load when I was experimenting but It's still gonna be unvapable in a tank when it gets that thick cos it wont wick properly. I wanted to highlight the problem partly for people that had never given it a thought and partly so that I could get some dodgy answers like peeing on it lol, I used to do that to put the fags out
