Confused...again

Hi once again. Bit of a daft question but I've received a bottle of Capella coconut concentrate to wallop into things. I've got a bottle of Hangsen premixed coconut which I was to err coconut up? On the website it said add 10 to 15 percent to unflavoured base etc but should I use the same with premixed stuff or just add a few drops to it and let it steep. The hangsen bottle is 30 ml. I've put a bit into my kanger along with the hangsen (no steep time whatsoever) and it tastes the same as usual so I'll have to chuck it in the cupboard for a week or two I think. Thought it was going to smell really strong but it's verrrrry weak smelling.

Given that your Hangsen is pre-mixed, 15-20% will be too much, and will also dilute your nic strength significantly. I'd be tempted to add a couple of ml and leave it a week. You can always add more if necessary but you can never take too much back out

Good plan @oneday I think I added about a half a mil to the stuff that was in the protank so I'll drain it back into the hangsen and put it away for a week or two just to see what develops

Thanks Clivia and @oneday thought it was going to smell really coconutty but I'm not getting any smell out of it oh well let the waiting commence.

How strong does it actually taste to you dalealan? Put a dab on your hand/tongue and that will give you an indication/guide - it won't poison you as the flavourings we use are intended for consumption in food stuffs.

Coconut is one of those subtle flavours that can easily be overpowering if you add too much I find.

Really weak Perpetua. I even added a couple of drops into a cuppa tea ordered it from cloudvapours and they seem a legit site but it didn't come in an original capella bottle so that's a bit worrying unless they just relabel them for advertising purposes? Oh well I suppose the wait begins.

I wouldn't worry about that dalealan, many Vendors rebottle their flavourings in ' unoriginal ' bottles . . . I've bought plenty like that from a variety of reptuable Vendors.

It could just be a weak one from Capella for your tastes, they do have a few from the ones I've tried - like all ranges really. Some are great/middling/or a waste of time.

Yeah you're probably right Perpetua I went on reviews and may have been expecting something really strong and they probably get it in large amounts and just rebottle it. I'll order another coconut from a different vendor and give it a whirl. Ps I lurve coconut

I'd never have guessed dalealan.

Maybe have a look at Inawera/Wera Garden, their flavours are potent - 3% recommended for this one:

Do you like Custard? I'm intrigued - but I just can't justify buying anymore flavourings even Custardy ones for research purposes.
