My first Nemmy

My first Nemmy arrived the other day, 3 days later I took it out of the box eager to try it out, I had an 18350 charged ready to go so I took off the extension tube, put the battery in and it rattles about, not making connection, so I grabbed an 18650 put the tube back on and had the same problem...

What am I doing wrong? does the Nemmy come fitted with a 'kick' ring I have to remove? if so I cant see how to do it.

Its gone back in the box now and I'm back on my Vamos

On another note I put the 18650 (just removed from a Vamo) into one of my mech mods, it didn't fire but got VERY hot, VERY quickly, I cant see a short, put the battery back in the Vamo and it works fine.... am I just having a bad day?

There's a very thin (2 or 3 mm) ring that can come off if necessary

Also, put it together in this sequence:-

1 unscrew the centre pin from the top cap
2 screw the atty onto the topcap
3 screw in the centre pin until it makes contact
4 screw topcap onto tubes
5 insert battery
6 screw on switch

Lol 'the nemesis ring' took me a bloody hour to figure out that this can be taken off.

Great mod use mine purely at home for 18650 mode.

Its now in 18350 mode with an aerotank mega and looks BEAUTIFUL, no longer will my sister poke fun at my sonic screwdriver

edit... now I just have to get used to a bottom firer

You only need the 2 longer pieces for 18650 and the bottom piece only for 18350, the shorter section is added for 18500.
If you don't have the kick ring and it rattles then you need to adjust the bottom switch contact by unscrewing it a bit till everything fits snug.

Edit all sorted now

I've photographed the mixed metal model coz it's easier to see, but on my all SS one it's almost invisible if you don't know it's there
