I'd suggest trying this DIY recipe @paulo: I have tried Grants ( thanks to a sample a kind Member sent me ) it was pleasant enough and nicely vapeable. Would I buy it, no - as I can make something every bit as nice, if not better. But, if you've the GVC itch, then scratch it - because you won't know until you try it. Whatever anyone says. And according to above your in the know Mandy

I have the above recipe steeping, but my very different recipe is the most similar to grants.

Still think its a marketing ploy. Its a bit like the muppets who pay through the nose for fish eggs, or a coffee bean thats been pooped out a cats arse. If you make something exclusive enough people will want to buy it. Haven't heard of those coffee beans, are they expensive Take a look at this if you want a laugh at how gullible people are. $600 a pound and its been in cat poo lol. cat poo coffee

Thanks Perpetua, I have made some of that recipe and love it. It's just that I heard good reports on the GVC that I thought I'd try to get some of the forum users take on it. Your last point is a god one and I think i will have a dabble on a bottle to cure my curiosity. Like sammy13 says it's not majorly premium price compared to some of the 'big names'

I've never tried to emulate Grants in all honesty Sammy, it is of no interest to me that sort of thing. I made my original PVC mix up, long before I ever tried GVC. If you gave me Grants recipe now, I'd still stick with Custardy Lovechild. Because I prefer it. All down to taste ultimately, I don't do hype on any of these ' boutique ' eliquids.

You will never know until you do, it may be the custard for you, or you may prefer abc etc. If you do not like it, it will fly out on the classies so nothing to lose. Let it steep if you can, the longer the better, I'm talking 6 weeks not 6 days lol. Some people have it for months, best I managed was 8 weeks, and boy it was good.

Exactly, see my pizza post We are all completely different people, and we all taste different things, we can give our views but that is all. I would never say to someone who likes a certain liquid - you are nuts its awful, cos we are all different.
