hi i had a ego-t but i missed the old cigarette thing in between my fingers so i bought a liberro realis kit.
the thing looks great like a real cig and i can take it out on clubs etc and has a hell of a throat hit.
but im seeing some liquid on the end of the cig and i feel some on my tongue. has anybody else experience this? could this possibly be because the vapour is re-humidified in my mouth or something? i think most producers should make non-dripping cartomizers by design, i hope this is the case too.
if its e-liquid dripping does anyone know if that poses a danger to my health or is the amount trivial for any concerns?

Hello & welcome Arisgi I'm not really going to be able to help you with the Realis as I've never used one. However, make sure you don't over fill the cartomisers & also make sure your battery doesn't need recharging. As for the tiny amount you are getting on your tongue/in your mouth. It's not going to do you any harm.

This is a Liberro piece of kit here : www.liberro.co.uk/e-cigarette-starter-packs/realis-ultra-realistic-electronic-cigarette-starter-pack. Scotts youtube review says it is compatible with SOME 510 accessories and the Ego T system. I reckon if it's leaking you are over-filling it. Scott says to fill the rubber cap 3/4 (12 drops) is the standard fill amount. Its is neat but as it's so small I bet the battery life is not that good, but it is small and is with a PCC which means you can probably get 4 charges from the PCC before it needs re-charging (from my previous experience with a 510 PCC). So all in all I reckon this would be okay to take out for an evening instead of a pack of "nasties" say if you're going to a nightclub. Scott reckons it has good vapour production. The size and pack is the main attraction of this e-cig. The carto's that come with it are 18mg nic level so you could buy any e-liquid and use it in there to get a different flavour.

yes it has a very good vapor. im using a full battery and the pack's prefilled cartomizers so its not an issue. i think maybe im a newbie vaper cause with ego-t i can suck in as much as i want, but this seems to be different in handling. i use to smoke (even real cigs) with (i dont know how to describe) air-puffs...i suck air with the smoke too something like smoking weed lol maybe its my fault anw thanks

It could just be that you are sucking on it too hard . Especially with it being an auto battery - i.e. no button to press to heat it up before taking a drag?

with e-cigs you need to slow down your suck ...the only thing i have found that i could suck full pelt on was a LR Kanger cartomiser.... it vapourises quicker and has a firmer draw to it

Hi and welcome, Arisgi Nothing to add re your juice-leaking problem, sounds like underpowered battery or overfilled carto, as already said.

The Realis is a good ecig for light use, as everyone else has pointed out... and like most cartomisers, can give a little juice in the mouth if the battery isn't fully charged, or overfilled. But it can also, as can most of them out there, hold condensation inside, that then transfers into the mouth, giving the taste of the juice. If you are a heavy vaper, then 'look a likes' won't fully do the job for you. There is lots of information on the forum regarding the different types of ecigs and their performance, but really trial and error is the best way of finding what is right for you. We are all different and all have different vaping requirements, daft though that may sound, as a cigarette was a cigarette, but this is a different world, where personal choice plays a massive part. Combinations of ecigs work for some, where they use a bigger battery mod at home, and a 'look a like' outdoors. Personally I don't like look a likes, as it leads to far too many people to think its a real cigarette I am using, which I certainly don't want. I want to be able to use my ecig anywhere and everywhere I would previously have smoked. Lots of homework needs to be done Arisgi, read the forums, watch reviews, and keep an eye on the Classifieds, all of that helps to find your perfect ecig, juice and vaping nirvana. Oh, and don't be afraid to ask questions, everyone is happy to help, and watch Vapourtrails tv of course...

thanks for the comprehensive message cat im a heavy smoker-light vaper as i understand now. i used to smoke over 2 packs a day but vaping i do something like 0.4ml/day. i have a question, are most cartomizers like realis in that they have a cotton lining inside to (supposedly) hold the liquid? i opened one and saw it like that.

I was just about to suggest it might be a little condensation, I'v noticed the smaller the hole, the more condensation i seem to get. Yes most of them have some kind of filler inside them to hold the liquid. There are types available (clearomisers for example) that have long wicks and no filling inside them. Some people prefer these types but others suggest they are more prone to developing leaks. As with most things vapeing, it is a try it and see if it works for you situation. Have a look at Gordy's thread, he might have a multi pack left ... allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=classified&thread=4011&page=1#90841

Arsigi, I know you said in your opening post that you like the feel of the ciggie look alike, however, they just don't have the power you need for an ex 2 pack a day smoker.
