Do a 1.5mm coil using 0.25 kanthal with 11 wraps (1.8ohms) put some cotton in (it should be very fluffy and easy to pull through the coil) - (don't forget to fluff the ends of the cotton when you have trimmed them to size)
Sorted, it's how i do the wifes Mini Protanks and they all work fine.

Mini protank ...:-( enjay..... It's driving me crazy Ah, they're a pain in the dark hole imo. But, the chances are the legs aren't quite straight or something and are hitting off the sides or the ends where you've snipped the legs are catching on the sides of the base when they're screwed in most likely. Are you torching the coil and squeezing it? Also whatever you wind around, leave it through the coil till it's all fitted nicely, centre the coil then carefully remove the tool and double check the coil is still centred after it's wicked. Remember and stick and extra bit of wick over the top of the coil too before fitting the chimney. They'll still leak, gurgle, spit juice into your mouth etc eventually, protank coils just seem to no matter what but you should get some sort of decent vape out of it for a while at least. I'd recommend checking out other atties though, something properly rebuildable but still small to suit your battery.

Lol.....you make it sound and look so easy ..........damn you ..will try again tomorrow hahaha Reason i mention 1.5mm coil is because if your coiling skills ain't high and if you are making a 2mm coil the coil may be touching the top centre tube (this would normally cause a short though)....plus the smaller the coil the less cotton, the lesser the cotton the better imo. Just make sure the coil is pulled right down to the bottom of the head and make sure the legs are opposite to each other (i.e west - east) and not near each other. Also most important when trimming the legs trim them as short as possible so you can barely see them, and don't screw the head in to tight as this can cause the trimmed legs to touch the edges of the head (you don't want that). Other than that also make sure the coil is in a dead central position.
