So, I guess like most people who start vaping my first experience was a mixed one. I didn't really know anything about it so opted for a cheap ce4 ecig from amazon, and some £2 a bottle strawberry juice from my friend's local newsagent. Immediately 10x better than smoking cigarettes, but I just figured the slight irritation I was feeling in my throat, and weak flavour, was par for the course. Three weeks on and I'm sitting at home vaping a lovely smooth cheesecake at 4.6v on my brand spanking new EVOD VV battery out of my sexy little protank mini 3 with my new variable airflow controller, wondering what flavours I could mix myself once I buy all the supplies on payday. I'm completely sold - the god damn things are more addictive than ciggies So, where next? Mods, rebuildables? I've seen more youtube vids on vaping kit these last few weeks than I have the world cup. All I know is getting something new and shiny off the postman beats nipping out in the rain for 20 stinking L&B any day of the week.

My husband keeps catching me looking at "vape porn" every time he walks in my office he even had the cheek to ask me when I was going to stop buying new shiney things and question how long it would take me to vape all the juice I have already bought though he's only teasing as he's just so thrilled I am no longer smoking. Theres just so much good stuff to buy thats the problem lol

johny5times congratulations on making the switch. 7 weeks for me tomorrow and ok. started with ego/ce4 for a week or was it 2. then SVD. week 2 (thanks monfooldrop ) then dripper and coiling week 3 (thanks ionian ) cue sample juice order from ciggyjuice (well i needed something to drip) wanted, was advised and needed a glass tank so last week protank 3 and juice (thanks markscuba ) been rewicking the iclear 30 tanks with cotton wool. building micro coils for the trident dripper with cotton wool. experimented with butchers twine (i think it's a bit crap tbh) 2 weeks ago started getting interested in mixing, (PLEASE SAVE ALL OLD JUICE BOTTLES AND ANY HOT PEPPER PLASTIC SAUCE BOTTLES AND GET OTHER PEOPLE TO SAVE THEIR EMPTIES FOR YOU TOO, IT'S WORKING. HAVE ABOUT 10 NOW) SAVE ALL SYRINGES, ORINGS AND SPARE HEADS AND EVERYTHING THAT MAY ONE DAY BE OF USE Bought 200ml of VG from Boots 2 weeks ago in anticipation of pay day and also get some menthol crystals while your at it. raid cupboards for any useful flavorings, i found a lemon that doesnt leave any surface oil on top of a cup of water. Spent £20 quid yesterday on some pg, nic base and a couple of flavors. Jobs a gudyun, isn't it amazing how addictive this all is. Ruffie

Its is addictive trying to better that last vape. recoiling your protank with a micro coil and cotton wicks would be the next step for a better vape and more flavour. Then its on to rebuildable atty's like the kayfun or taifun ect.(maybe with bigger vv/vw so they don't look silly) Next stop, mech mods and drippers

What you on about, my dripper looks perfectly funky on an evo 650mah battery. as do the iclears and protank without the beauty ring. This is what you've got to look forward to johny5times and as i say I'm only 7 weeks in and not mixing yet. I do love my juice box though. I was sitting in my chair looking at the butter tub crammed with sh1t and suddenly my empty chest caught my eye and I thunk ah ha, that will do nicely. I collect wooden boxes, Usually much smaller than that. and have them on the mantle piece with my silver from metal collecting in one and bit's n bobs in all the others.

Well done on 3 weeks, long may you vape When you reach 4 weeks, these lot will knock on your door in the early hours of a dark foggy night, wearing hooded cloaks and chanting "One of us, one of us", but don't panic it's just an initiation - and you may get a welcome basket

thanks for the messages actually finding it very, very easy to stay away from the cigs. not remotely tempted now, even when offered. I've seen a few mentions on here of people buying their VG from Boots, is this the right stuff? www.boots.com/en/Value-Health-Glycerin-B-P-200ml_852418/also, would it need cutting with water to thin it out a bit, and if so, how much approx?

Yeah that's the right V.G. from Boots. I use a few drops of vodka to thin it.

I'm with @munkymunky... slosh a bit of vodka in a 100ml bottle, approx 10-15ml and top up with VG, lid on, shake well and good to go
