how do i make a ebay complaint ?

Now this is something ive never had to do and ive got quite lost in the help pages,

I purchased this

when it arrived i plugged it into my tv and it worked for all of 2 seconds

i then got a red screen it froze and now wont turn on

i contacted the vendor and this is the reply i got

so they want me to take photos and videos of something not working

I really cant be bothered with trying to get help from some seller that obviously gets this problem time and time again

my question is how do i report him/get my money back

Complain straight to PayPal. They are better at sorting it out than eBay.

First tell the seller you want to return the DOA item, and require full postage costs to be reimbursed. This is a requirement of distance selling, and they advertise as being in the UK, so it applys. Then, when they play silly buggers with you, you have all the ammunition that PayPal need to process the refund.

Send it back tracked too. Cover all bases. Should be 'item not as decribed'

Go to the Help & Contact page via the button on the top panel, near the "My E Bay" button. That should take you to everything you need to submit a report.

And is greatly in the buyers favour in case of complaint.

Ive been in touch with ebay and managed to find what i needed

Itrs now in the sellers hands to reply

ill give them time and go down the paypal route if not sorted

And don't forget ALL postage costs are down to the seller despite their statement in their listing.
And they can't leave you negative feedback

Unless you want to risk the same thing happening with a replacement, Just go the Paypal route and get your dosh back.

They dont even want me to send the defective stick back
