Kroma? Maybe not. 2ml is unacceptable and the product is so new, it could be a lemon. UKecigstore? Definitely not. Please don't support these people. They most certainly do not deserve your custom. I can only speak for myself and I had no problem with UKecigstore. Price was reasonable, parcel arrived next day as promised so I can't fault them. Personally I would much rather buy from them than sit waiting weeks on end for a parcel from China.

You can buy the iStick Power from here for £39.99. I got mine there recently and they are fast and reliable.
Can't seem to add the link but it's ukecigstore.com

Thank you for sharing a very interesting article. I must admit, I had never heard of Q10 before. The most telling comment he makes is that high cholesterol does NOT cause heart attacks ... yet our GP's say we must take cholesterol reducing statins at any cost to prevent strokes and heart attacks. Personally I prefer to believe this man because all the side effects he mentions are spot on. I love his comment that, in his opinion, NOBODY should be taking statins, instantly made me feel better about listening to my own body and going against my doc's advice.

Wow. I am shocked by some of the responses. Not the people but the level of incidence being reported, and thanks for sharing your experience. The odds of nerve pain are supposed to be 1-10 in 1000 according to the leaflet that came with myI think medication, yet there seems to be a higher incidence by what is being reported on here and my wife's caravan forum. Clearly statins are a dirty medicine. For me I'll take the risk of a heart attack than end up being unable to walk, until they can come up with a better option. I suspect they only take into account very severe cases of nerve pain, whereas the majority of people just put up with it and struggle on because their doctor says they need statins. I've not taken anything other than Antorvastatin and my doctor seemed reluctant to prescribe anything different. She did agree that if you suffer from arthritis to begin with, the statins are likely to make your pain worse. I could have probably lived with that but not the constant leg cramps, pins and needles, enough gas to inflate thousands of hot air balloons (putting it politely) and serious stomach discomfort. Excess gas is one of the common side effects apparently. My body was just very unhappy on them from day one and the prospect of having to live like that for the rest of my life wasn't an option for me.

My doctor put me on Antorvastatin when my cholesterol result was rather too high. If I remember rightly it was 7.2 instead of 5 or under as it's meant to be. The first few weeks on the statins were a nightmare, disturbed sleep, all sorts of aches and pains but the worst thing was they killed my appetite. I had to force myself to eat, really didn't enjoy the food at all and could only eat small amounts. I also had horrible stomach problems. My appetite gradually improved somewhat but the stomach problems stayed and over the next year I lost about 3 stone. Admittedly I was slightly overweight to begin with, but I ended up a stone underweight. I mentioned the problems to my doctor who didn't seem unduly concerned. Her attitude was, the side effects are a bit of a pain but won't kill you, whereas a stroke or heart attack could. After a year my cholesterol was down to 4 something but as soon as I stopped the statins it started to creep back up and my doctor wanted me to go back on them again. I said I'm sorry but no way am I going back to all those problems again. It took several months of being statin free to get my old enjoyment of meals back, most of the aches and pains gone and the stomach problems much better. No-one wants to have a stroke or heart attack but for side effects outweighed the benefits and experts are not even certain that they prevent strokes and heart attacks anyway. I prefer to eat smaller portions, cut out or reduce things that are bad and hope for the best. Not everyone is the same, some people seem to have no bad side effects at all but in my case I was just wasting away and I wasn't willing to continue like that. I feel and look so much better without the statins. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Oh no, don't ever allow anyone to make you feel stupid regardless of what gear you use. Your vaping choices are your preferences, not theirs and we are all different in what we like. I'm still using the old IClear 30 tanks and ny old Vamo's, VTR, MVP that I bought 2 or 3 years ago and I'm very happy and comfortable with them. Even when items become outdated, you can still usually find them online. One or two fellow vapers have made comments to me, such as "What the heck is THAT you're using?" but as long as I'm happy with what I use I shall carry on.

So true, although I would have to add one to the Best Doctors In The World list -
7 - A sense of humour.

That's strange, I've tried a few juices with higher VG and found the opposite, but that might because I'm not used to so much VG. It also irritates my throat more, so I stick to higher PG. I do have a bottle of 50/50 which I'm going to try and see what happens.

Ah yes there are definitely big savings and the overseas companies also still sell some of the older batteries/mods that are hard to find here. I'm as keen as anyone else to try the new shinys but I've never stopped using my older ones that I bought a couple of years ago, like the Vamo and the VTR. Most of you probably wouldn't be seen dead using them now, but I'm a creature of habit. When either of those packs up I will most likely end up buying from somewhere like Fasttech.

I must say I really admire you people who wait patiently for your overseas orders. I'm afraid I wasn't blessed with patience - once I see a nice new shiny, I want to buy it there and then and start using it straight away . If I had to wait several weeks for delivery I know I would end up spotting something else locally and buying that as well. I'm also lucky in living close to a very good and trustworthy vendor, which is worth a lot to me.

I think it depends on how much you vape, plus certain liquids seem to make me thirstier than others. I'm not a very heavy vaper. I always drink at least 4 cups of tea a day and in addition to that, I keep a glass of water on hand and have 4 or 5 mouthfuls about 5 times each day. Most of the juice I use is 6mg and high PG. I've noticed anything "thicker" like treacle or toffee tends to make me drink slightly more water but as with everything it's best to listen to your own body and drink accordingly.

I agree about the different flavours .... in recent years I smoked Old Holborn rollies exclusively If I may ask, what flavour are you vaping now? Is it similar to Old Holborn? When I first started vaping I was using Virginia which was nothing like real tobacco. I tried a few others and none of them are remotely like Old Holborn, but I realized I didn't need tobacco flavours, others were fine. One of my favourites now is Peaches & Cream .... but I keep several mixes on hand and just go from one to another through the day. I don't mix my own liquid as such and have no interest in doing so, I just add a few drops of this and a couple of drops of that until I end up with a pleasing taste.

Hi guys, Just interested in how people are slowly weaning themselves off nicotine. Has anyone used E Cigarettes to totally quit? If so how did you do it. Do you move slowly down in nicotine over time? What I did was - started off on medium strength .... after a couple of days, mixed medium with low ..... after another couple of days, just used Low ... now I'm on mostly zero nic, no higher than 6mg mixed in and that's only to use up the juices I have that are 6mg. I'm sure it was the actual habit of smoking that I was addicted to more than the nicotine.

Welcome to the forum reddragon, you will find lots of helpful folks here no matter the problem. I'm no expert myself, I only switched to vaping in June, but I have to wonder if your battery is faulty as you say it refuses to fire up. I am sure someone much more experienced than me will be along soon to advise. Meanwhile, hang in there and well done for making the switch.

Free kit from the NHS? Hmm, that'll be something along the lines of a recycled old brass paraffin blowlamp fitted with a dynamo that powers a torch lightbulb that you are meant to use as a dripper. An old brass paraffin blowlamp sounds quite interesting, got my Brasso all ready
