I bought a Taifun clone from Fasttech which arrived last week, and today was the first chance I have had to build and try it out. Full of trepidation, I watched loads of videos, and then gave it a good clean before nervously putting in a 1.1ohm coil (6 wraps of .32 Kanthal on an M3 bolt), before wicking it with what I hoped would be enough cotton wool, with longer trailing 'tails' outside the centre deck reaching towards to bottom of the tank. I have had some Super-Shiny's Custard recipe steeping for a month so thought it would be a good test for it, so filled it up (blimey, it takes a whole load of juice - 5ml!) and then put the thing together before mounting it on my new telescopic Atom mod, also from Fasttech. Oh my days!! What taste and positively clouds of vapour I've have actually had a head rush, something which rarely happens these days, and can't put the bleddy thing down, it's fantastic. Quite a large RBA, but doesn't look too out of place on an 18500 mod. If you are in any doubt, buy one of these wee beasties, you won't be disappointed. Of course, it has yet to leak and gurgle, but for the moment I'm really enjoying this. I think it might live at home for evening vaping, and may become my dedicated custard device!! EDIT: please excuse the walls, we're re-decorating!!

Looks great Never tied the GT yet but I have a GS sitting on my 14500 cube. If the big one is as good it will be an excellent cape. The big one does look better though

erik514 - it is a bit of a monster compared with a Russian, but not too much. Here's the two side by side :-

23mm isn't so good though, most of my mods are 22mm so it wouldn't look right. It would look good on a paps though if i ever manage to find someone selling one at the same time as i have enough cash

Hell, the vape is so good though, I really don't care, and it will stay at home so it's only me will notice it!

I do like the Taifun. It's like a Kayfun lite but easier to refuel -however mine went a bit loopy recently and even with coil and wick changes, putting in new seals and all, it wept like a football fan losing 2-0 to lower league opposition. It stopped wee'ing when I rayon'ed it.

Nice one chykensa - it really is a good vape when working well. I use it mainly as a big spheroid using Jewel filler. It's a slightly less flavoursome vape but so much more consistent, and looks great with the steel tank that Steve mentions above.

I have been saying for longer than I can remember that the GT laughs in the face of Mrs Kayfun and her naughty offspring.
It is also 95.6% easier to deal with if you have a problem or just want a splash and dash.
Mine has not leaked in 6 months. The only minor irritation is the weepy 510 pin.

I thought about trying that when I read the post but I'm always adjusting the pin. 100% "in" for Nemesis. 50% "out" for VV/VWs.
