Just to show i'm still a newbie even though i'm forever reading and learning and it would also help other newbies out how often should i be cleaning my atomisers or tanks
I clean my drip tips at least twice a day more if i change my e juice, should i be doing it more often, don't want to become ocd over it.
but how often should i clean my tank or atomiser up at mo i'm cleaning it out when i change ejuice but if i top up with the same i don't clean it out, should i clean out and then refill with same juice or is just topping them up ok?
if i haven't changed juice in two/three days then i clean the tank up on next refil, but wondering i should be doing it more often, i'm a bit health concious so don't want any bugs breading if you know what i mean?
just washing out in hot soapy water and rinsing under hot tap water then drying them on a paper towel.

I rinse mine in hot/warm water ... but not every other day ?? Just call me a dirty cow ! LOL I wash them out probably once/twice a week ?? I've always figured germs are good for you - they build up your immune system

clairea - if I am putting the same juice in a tank, I don't clean it out - it's quite interesting to mix a flavour that has been in the tank for a while with a 'fresh' one, because they mix themselves up & I quite like it. If they're different flavours, I usually rinse them out in hot water & then chuck all of them in my ultrasonic cleaner and leve them on paper towels to dry.

Even if I'm changing juice I only clean once a week, mainly for hygiene. Remarkably every Sunday afternoon. All tanks bar a CE4 are in the unltrasonic bath right now, after strip-down and a warm rinse - warm water and lemon juice. I'll rinse when done and dry on top of my PC's exhaust fan. The coils I'll give a dry burn, a rinse then another couple of cycles in the Ultrasonic. Towel dry, shake and a gentle warm on an ego battry to evaporate the water and ready to go. All in? Roughly 2hrs, 6 atties gleaming

My Zmax is a different story - because that one is the pinnacle of my vaping "career", it gets the special treatment. It has a personal massage, a jacuzzi and there is always a happy ending

I can't be doing with all this cleaning malarky . . . so I don't bother on any regular basis. Drip Tips get a quick once over with an alcoholic wipe when they look a bit manky. Flavour changes get vaped through. Tanks get a swift rinse out when I change coils. Simple . . . . and I'm still alive and kicking after over 4 years on this regime.

hmm not sure i would want to use my ultrasonic cleaner, it doesn't sterilize, would be to worried it would damage the parts, knowing how much it can damage gemstones, think would stick to hot soapy water,

I do my protank minis about once a month in the ultra sonic with half a cap of Milton's for one cycle then clean hot water for one cycle to get rid of the Milton taste. It's doesn't hurt them some of mine are over 9 months old. It's the only way to get rid of some really strong tasting juice like menthol. I do rinse them sometimes if I'm changing flavours under running hot water.

Many of us (not me, I hasten to add!) use ultrasonic cleaners to clean our vaping bits and bobs. Adding Milton's will add the necessary sterilisation that you need, and won't do any harm to the atomisers or the USC itself.
