im going to order some batts and a charger from torchy for my provari. should i go for the nitecore i2 or the efest soda with either the torchy imr 18500 button top, efest 18500 imr button top or the sibeile 18500 button top (are they IMR) just looking for some basic opinions, i know i should use AWs but i want 4 batteries and im not paying £40 ish for them. thanks.

Ive had two Nitecore i2 chargers over the past 6 weeks and both ended up with the same problem,.. that being one of the charging banks stopped working., a quick google search reveals it has happened to lots of people, I switched to an XTAR WP2S .. it repairs overcharged and under drained batteries, has variable charging rate and you can even charge your phone off it if that floats your boat ...lol... its excellent quality too, and comes with a car charger, for 20 quid you cant go wrong... each to their own tho i guess www.torchdirect.co.uk/batteries-and-chargers/xtar-wp2s-dual-bay-li-ion-battery-charger.html With regards to the batteries .. i have both, the red AW IMR's and the purple Efest ones both in 18350 and i cant tell any difference between them, some say they can tell but they must be clever people... lol Tease-smiley

I just bought a ProVari today also, and I was wondering the exact same thing about which batteries to get. A lot of people say to get nothing but AW, but other people say that Efests are fine. So which one is it?

I just got some 2600mah batteries from touchy. Was going to go for the more expensive ones but after a chat with the man himself he advised the above.
Must say I'm impressed. They're lasting over two days of constant use.

So which one is it? You can use both mate.... i have more of those purple efests than i do the red AW,s ... i use them every other day in my Provari, there is no difference that i can see, ive been using them for just over a year now.. if you do want the red ones you can get them from exhale for the same price as the purple ones.. dont pay almost 8 quid for one battery that some vendors are charging... they are £4.99 each from exhale and you can use coupon code AAEC www.exhalecigarette.co.uk/aw-18350-700mah-imr-battery/

I've got red efests in mine, and just recently bought from Torchy. His batteries seem very good and the price is right!
I'm afraid that the price for aw imr puts me off, that and fact many seem to be fakes. Id rather take my chances and just buy a decent imr

I've had a nitecore for a while and it's performed consistantly well. Can't speak for 2 of the batteries but the Efest are pretty good, the 18350's suck but the 18500's are decent.

I hope your Efeat LUC4 is better than mine was, it was the new version and I sent it back because of the over charging. IIWY check the voltage of the batteries after charging to be sure.
