Have just been laughed out of work!

Clocked in at noon, already wondering why I was getting strange looks as I walked through the store. Went through the warehouse and down to the 'back door' greeted by 'WTF are you doing here?'.

'What do you mean?' I replied... 'You're supposed to be on holiday' was the response. Sure enough they were right, and had already covered my shift.

Old age doesn't come alone, I tell you, but at least I could stock up on the alcohol!

Mrs Bad went to Aldi the other day to pick up one for the special offers for me, she looked all around and couldn't find it so she asked a member of staff who politely informed her this was an Asda store. It did used to be an Aldi, but... and shes not even blond.

ditto here, I couldn't understand why one Lidl branch in town had completely different brands from the one I go to often with my Ma-In-Law ...it'll be 'cos one is Aldi and other is Lidl .... There isnt much difference in store logo, same colours AND both have 4 unpronounceable letters, I suppose its better than trying to food shop at Ikea?

On the forum other day I swapped TPA pear -- poor member actually received TPA sour (4 letters both ending in 'R') how embarrassing! My only excuse is 'fibro fog'

and then there was the time I was talking to kids headmistress about the recent headlice outbreak at school .....managed to say my daughter had 'pubic lice' she was aged 5 at the time... but worst still, headmistress is a Catholic Nun

I rang up my !middle sons school to report his absence. They rang me later on and asked where he was. I'd only rung his old primary school and not the secondary!

I once collected my daughter from primary for a dental apointment, I asked for 'Rhiannon' as far as I was aware she was only one in the school, they asked what year - I said year 5 and they brought me a completely random child who had that name!

My daughters school keep phoning me to request absence reasons....shes in 6th form aged 18 and is in Zante, Greece wilding it up on an 18-30 holiday with 13 other girls from her year....gonna be awkward when she returns from 'being off sick' with a cracking suntan!
