Rust

Ok folks, Ive jist taken apart the v3 spheroid I bought last week that was in immaculate condition. In the base I found the nut for the positive contact has rusted heavily. Is this common issue? I didnt wash it before my first build but I did check it over and all was good and dry.
Could it be a cheap clone?

Contrary to popular belief, some low quality (cheap) stainless steel alloys will show oxidization (rust). Just leave inexpensive SS cutlery in a dishwasher for a while and you will see rust!!

If it rusts, it ain't stainless! Don't care what anyone says it is.
It might have the correct materials in that stainless has, but if they aren't in the right quantities or mixed correctly, it isn't stainless steel.
In the same way that a kilo of sand, a tablespoon of cement and a gallon of water thrown in a bucket is not mortar!

Steve (VapeStorm) I checked that as well to make sure everything was sound for you. I have the tracking emails to prove it's from vapourart.com and not a clone.

is it not just the screw thats causing the rust? From the last pic it looks like the nut may be the source, maybe it is not the original. And "Stainless Steel" is not "rust proof", just corrosion resistant, how much dependes on the grade/particular alloy.
