I hope you're right markm. But, when you have politicians/big business/tobacco/money/ on one side, and the innocent consumer trying to give up smoking on the other side....... it looks bad for the consumer! If they can find a way to tax the f*** out of us they will. And I doubt they will let anything as trivial as *facts* get in their way....

Just at the moment it would be a suicidal politician who talked about raising taxes on anything, they all want to get votes.
Ultimately the battles will be in court rooms - perhaps not in the UK, but somewhere in Europe, fortunately courts are obliged to review facts.

This press release www.ecita.org.uk/docs/ECITA_Press_Release.pdf should be part of the basis of a new letter to the mp's I'm not a good letter writer so I would rather a generic letter could be written that we could all send to our MP's etc,

It might be an idea to all ask our local trading standards offices what their Understanding of labelling requirements currently apply. Perhaps referring Them to Mark Gardiner for clarification if they arn't up to speed just yet.

Less important than the campaigning value this should make flying with juice and sending in the post easier (domestic and international). Once it filters through when the Post Office ask you what's in your package you can say e-liquid, not any more hazardous than washing up liquid. E: apparent Royal Mail already realised!
