Could always try a bit of rayon I think rayon works really really well with tobacco I have noticed it lasts a lot longer than cotton and the flavour is Yummy

Could always try a bit of rayon The pic I posted was with rayon, but cleaning the Kanthal with 600 wet & dry then IPA, no flaming no heating & squeezing it has stayed much cleaner than my other goes with rayon and still going well now. I think I linked to the thread and not the post b4.

VapingBad that's interesting , have to tried a side by side comparison to see if the heating of the kanthal vs none heating / dry burning is the contributor to cleaner coils or is it something to do with the rayon? Keep us posted

Keep us posted I think both help, cleaning the Kanthal and keeping the oxidisation to absolute min may make the coil less sticky, but I think that the rayon wicks so well and you use more than cotton wool that the heat spreads a bit better. This is just wild guesses, but having fun and that wick has lasted better than any other I have done in a kayfun.

My betting is that it won't reduce the gunking by much and if it did there would probably be a significant loss of flavour. I'd be happy if you prove me wrong and there's only one way to find out. So good luck.
