I started my vaping journey with EVOD tanks and have also got a Protank 2 for home and going out.
Currently I use my EVOD's and Vision Spinner for work and the MVP II and Protank 2 ofor home and going out.Having tasted the same juice in both tanks , I've found that I really like the taste and there's more flavour from the Protank 2.Is that because of the glass or the stainless contruction, I really don't know.
I've looked at the Mini Protank 2 because they use the same coils , I'm really not keen on the base being a different colour ( why the hell did they do that ) than the rest of the tank and was wondering , as I can't find one , a base that has the same colour/construction as the rest of the tank OR is there another tank that I should be looking at altogether and forget the EVOD's and coils I have. I'm hoping that a stainless and glass combination will give me the same flavour production as the Protank 2 AND I want a smaller size because the Protank 2 looks stupid on the spinner and is SO top heavy , it falls over very easily.
If there is something that I've not mentioned or something that I need to consider, please tell me.

If you wanna stick with the PT2, grab a aif flow controller. Cost a £3 or so and as well as being SS, they allow a much tighter or looser vape to suit your taste. Makes a big improvement to the PT2.

I wanna keep the Protank 2 for the MVP II , and I already have an air flow controller for it.I just need a smaller glass tank that takes EVOD coils and doesn't have a stupid different coloured base like the Mini Protank 2 has.

The Nature Vape mini pro tank link I think uses the same coils, but comes with a cotton wool wick and they do supply their own coils. It's a 510 fitting but you can get a beauty ring to fill the gap and they work well on the spinner 2, and they are dead simple to recoil, even I can do it

They do an airflow for the mini protank also Montana see here: myepack.co.uk/kanger-mini-airflow-control-valve-v2.html I use this with my mini pro and its silver rather than the dark gunmetal of the original base.

That is a brilliant find snow , me think I need to go and find where I can get one now.
Pity Kanger didn't offer this as an option, when buying. They didn't sell that many of the Mini Protank 2's because of the different coloured base, ( again, I don't know why they made it a different colour in the first place ) and reviewers slated this at the time. They would sell a lot more than the Protank 3's ( in my opinion ) because of them being single coils and thus being easier to recoil , OR having the option to be able to have the Mini Protank 3's take the single coil as well as the dual coil.
Again, thanks very much snow

The more I thought about the more that I needed an airflow controller for it anyway.
I am using just one flavour at the moment because of the VG/PG ratio's of the other flavours I have, unfortunately I've found that PG strong juices give me a sore throat , whereas a pure VG one doesn't even if I chain vape it.So , with the airflow controller it'll probably be fully open as the VG is quite thick, and the longer it steeps the thicker it gets.I've found that if I close the air controller on the Protank 2 it's like sucking a Mcdonalds milkshake when it's just been made, almost impossible , lol.
On a side note I've just got some more vape mail today, I got "Bread of Heaven" from Druids Brew and "Hot Cross Bun" from the Alchemists Cupboard.I haven't tried the "Hot Cross bun" yet as it was only made yesterday , but I have tried "Bread Of Heaven" and I'm really hoping that it REALLY improves with age, as at the moment it doesn't taste of much at all and what it does taste of isn't very nice, I can't even put a flavour to it, so it's going to stay in the tank and bottle and I'm going to try it in about 3 or 4 days time to see if it improves. I got the juices from Red Juice and The Alchemists Cupboard and they both arrived the next day, very good service.
I'll report back on the Mini Protank 2 when it arrives, probably middle of next week.

Well that was quick , unlike this post , lol.
This morning a knock at the door and 2 parcels arrived ( I'll mention the other one in another thread ) and low and behold my Myepack order had come and I only ordered it at 3:30 yesterday afternoon, now that's a fast delivery. Well , what can I say about the Protank 2 Mini , it's just as good as the Protank 2 just in a slender size and a lot more suited to my Vision Spinner. The taste and vapour production is far superior that the EVOD's and a lot more pleasing to the eye.The separate airflow controller ( I think it's the V2 ) is a must as you can set it to your preferred draw and it won't move round while it's in use, it does move when you remove the base to refill and put back on your mod again, just set it back and forget as it's nice and stiff , unlike the Protank 2 V1 airflow controller I have , which is a knurled ring that moves all the time and to me is still very tight on draw even when fully open, I might have to get the V2 and see if that's better.
I was a bit worried that the Protank 2 Mini was only going to be a miniscule better than the EVOD , but it's a LOT better and well worth the purchase price of £5.99 ( cheaper than some EVOD prices I've seen ) available HERE and to top that off with the airflow controller HERE.
I don't seem to be doing bad with my hardware purchases, pity the same can't be said about my juice purchases , lol
Again a very big thank you to snow for the suggestion, thanks.
