kitty778, First of greetings and to AAEC. various VV options open to you and fred has suggested one, For your Flatmate, I would suggest a bit of research to determine just what floats his boat in regards of style, weight, options. With that in mind 1 Get him to register on here as well 2 Both of you browse the various venders on here (full list can be found along with relevant discount codes) Here allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/1148/cigarette-liquid-vendors-discount-codes?page=1&scrollTo=23191 3 I would strongly advise you to peruse myepack.co.uk/Finally, I would not personally recommend an absolute new comer to invest in Mods of any sort till you are more experienced in the use of coils, wicks and batteries. It could so easy all end in tears........

Thanks. I'm already comparing various things on myepack as knew from research it was a trusted site with sensible prices.
It's a surprise birthday present for my flatmate, who tried giving smoking up earlier this year (I've never tried).
What I'm looking for is recommendations for each of us that will provide airflow control and variable voltage, in an overall cylinder shape? And your reasons for recommendations. Thanks for all the posts so far!

Vision spinner 2 and a kanger aerotank mow for yourself and a mvp2 with a nautilus for the man. Both would be ideal for starting out I would say. Both are v/v,the mvp2 is also v/w and both tanks have airflow control. I agree start simple don't jump in head first because you might fail and get back on the fags !!

Definitely a provari, then Just to add something constructive, anything you buy that is 510/ego threaded will work with everything else - which is just about everything you can buy these days. Just shout up before you pull the trigger, if you're not sure, and someone will confirm.

Ok.... lets start again.. My opinion on this as follows.. , People ie newbies come on forums like this and see all the flashy mods, the impressive coil builds and huge clouds of vapour and think ...wow... im having some of that, then they are bombarded with a tonne of techo info and you can hear them sigh from one end of the country to the other.... then when someone comes along and offers something simple all the techno guys turn their nose up, forgeting of course that it was the simple stuff that got them off the ciggies in the first place....One of the quickest ways to get a newbie running for the hills and back to ciggies is introducing them to techno kit..... and genny atties...haha... they have to be the worst in my opinion...lol..... Kitty... keep it simple... get a couple of Ego batteries each (one as a back up) and a couple of packs of Cartomizers.... are they the best no, but they aint the worst either and they are more than capable of keeping you off the ciggies....try them, if you dont like them then start looking at something elses a little further on....... does anyone have a problem with this.....come on... spill the beans ...lol.

OK - when cartos runout they are worse than rank.
Clearos don't need to run out, as you can see they need more juice.
Newbie friendly!

Erm... but standard ego batteries and cartomisers don't offer the flexibility I'm after, or do they?

Ok... i didnt see Gills post above.... there is nothing wrong with that kit either, the only downside i can see with it is the fact that i think they only have a 800mah built in battery... if you are out and about and it goes flat you are stuffed..unless you have two or antoher back up..... how do you plan your day with that setup Gill ?

Hmmmm! - ce4s and novas maybe if you don't swirl them enough, but I personally, have never had a problem with any bcc I've used. Think I've still got 3 of the 5 cartos left from my first kit that I've not used. Just didn't like them although I will admit, they gave better flavour than ce4/5. Still, got my microcoiled and cottoned kayfuns now - full flavour and never a dry hit!
