Where's my flavour gone?

Got some Halcyon Haze sweet prudence last week and the first tank was lovely, I could really taste the tangerine and honey etc. so when the tank was empty I filled it up and thought ......yum  here we go again......but no!

i have recoiled it, re wicked it, put a silicone coil/wick in it, done everything I can think of and it doesn't taste the same. In fact it doesn't really taste of anything 

Ive ive tried different v/w, gone onto mint/menthol, and nothing seems to work.

experts here, please explain? I'm so sad,   That juice is just delicious. And I've just ordered some triphammer juices today, as a treat for cutting blummin acres of s*****g grass! Oh and visiting mum later this week  which does this to me, although I love her very much really 
Going to make a couple or 4 new coils, use cotton wool wick, carefully, and try again until someone who knows what's going on can help me. 

For info, it's in a protank 2 with AFC, using somewhere between 6.0 and 8.0w. (If p is w?) The coil is at 1.9 ohms according to my MVP and it's the cotton wool wick.

Reckon you've got vapers tongue, if other liquids lack flavour this will be the cause. The good news is that it is temporary. In the meantime if all is relatively tasteless vape the worst liquid you've got to use it up and save the good stuff for when the flavours come back.

Thank you prr good advice there. The gins addiction from Halcyon Haze still has flavour but it's aniseed/absinthe so can't imagine it not ever being tasteless. Some of my other juices seem ok too?

Still confused ???

Probably it's vapers tongue, but if you already have some liquids from different producers try them out and you'll know for sure.

Well, I've recoiled and wicked 2 mini protanks and my two spare coils, one NV and another protank. Refilled two tanks with LT mocca and a mix of LT amaretto fresh and cherry? (Not the best but it does taste) and swapped the protank for CV confusion, which is really nicely steeped, but sadly not much left, and that tastes ok too? Really fed up now. Want the original taste of my sweet prudence back. Kept the NV mini with gins addiction. So I'll go with those for a while, not swap or change and hope for the best (unless I change a tank to lemon )

And wait for my new juices..........

sleedale because you found the juice soooooo delicious you've probably vaped it a bit too much which causes the taste to disappear. Happened to me with butterscotch.

Just leave it alone for a while, vape some other flavours and then go back to it at a later date.

I suggest at least a couple of days. I've been testing Minty The Toff for a couple of days now. Just tried some of my old Absynthe mix and it tastes so strong it can almost melt fillings. And I never even noticed any lack of flavour before.

At it's very worst, over 4 years ago now, everything I vaped suddenly began to taste of onion!

Lasted for a week or so, and it took real will power to stick with vaping....

Onion  :'(I like onions.......as food.....in stuff I eat......not to vape

hope it doesn't get that bad......other flavours seem ok so maybe I just need to keep swapping a bit and avoid that one for a while

My 1st (and sadly wont be the last ) bout of VT lasted about 4 days. As people on here will testify I was feeling pretty down with it as I was only about 3 weeks in.
It lasted right over a weekend and everything tasted the same and plasticy. Watery, nasty nothingness.
Not at all pleasant but got through it. I even vaped a few lungfulls of Menthol for a while
Then all of a sudden the taste just came back over a day and by evening you would have thought nothing had ever happened.
I do try and have another flavor in a tank or even in the dripper on the ego lol just to take a puff of something completely different now and then.

thank you I have bookmarked that one as it sounds lovely I really want to try that one I will order it as soon as I get home from vapefest as I don't want to order to much at the moment and collect the same things at the fest but I am really looking forward to that one Thanks
