Sorry guys, I've edited the Tapered Tip filling bit. Hope it seems simpler now. It works really well in practice . Apologies to Hissie, I've been a bit negligent of this thread since posting!

Mmmm I got some feedback that the spiky worked quite well ???.. Perhaps she used a larger bottle or widened the nozzle? I was under the impression that there was a nice jet of liquid filling the upturned CE3.. I'll order some myself to see if I can get to the bottom of it. I assume (as you were using a condom) that your second 2mm attempt was with the normal method (top filling). If you were still using the spiky it's important to leave enough space in the filling hole for the displaced air to vent out. I think it's inevitable that there will be some leakage with this method so it's always a good idea to give the CE3 a good blow through after.

Just gave the spiky a bash. It works with the supplied dropper bottle but there are a few privisos. 1.The bottle must be at least 60%ish full. 2.The bottle must be squeezed very gently. Squeeze too hard and liquid will hit the battery end at such speed that it forces its way out. 3.The Spiky must be withdrawn before finger pressure is relieved from dropper bottle.
I found lopping 7mm off the end of spiky gave a better fit in the filler hole and an improved flow of liquid. With that all said n' done, I still prefer the Tapered syringe tip for it's fill and squirt simplicity.
