My GP reviewed my asthma a few weeks ago. He seemed thrilled that I'd quit smoking back in November, I went on to explain that I'd used e-cigarettes and how effective I thought they were in comparison to all other NRTs. His response was 'So what are they?'
Hmmmphh! Well, at least he knows now.

I wouldn't say breaking exactly Womble but the glue holding the plastic cap to the metal spring plate failed on mine. There are a few reports of glue failures at both ends of the toob.
Edit: Should mention that it appears to be limited to a only very small proportion of earlier models.

I was supplied with a replacement end cap recently. I think it came under the warranty but it does mean that at least one supplier (ecigwizard) keep spares. I'd try emailing a toob supplier to see if you can come to an arrangement.

Just gave the spiky a bash. It works with the supplied dropper bottle but there are a few privisos. 1.The bottle must be at least 60%ish full. 2.The bottle must be squeezed very gently. Squeeze too hard and liquid will hit the battery end at such speed that it forces its way out. 3.The Spiky must be withdrawn before finger pressure is relieved from dropper bottle.
I found lopping 7mm off the end of spiky gave a better fit in the filler hole and an improved flow of liquid. With that all said n' done, I still prefer the Tapered syringe tip for it's fill and squirt simplicity.

Mmmm I got some feedback that the spiky worked quite well ???.. Perhaps she used a larger bottle or widened the nozzle? I was under the impression that there was a nice jet of liquid filling the upturned CE3.. I'll order some myself to see if I can get to the bottom of it. I assume (as you were using a condom) that your second 2mm attempt was with the normal method (top filling). If you were still using the spiky it's important to leave enough space in the filling hole for the displaced air to vent out. I think it's inevitable that there will be some leakage with this method so it's always a good idea to give the CE3 a good blow through after.

Sorry guys, I've edited the Tapered Tip filling bit. Hope it seems simpler now. It works really well in practice . Apologies to Hissie, I've been a bit negligent of this thread since posting!

It's clever how the photographer manager to get into yer piccy Perps!
Like Des, I've learned that the C word does you no favours. I'll usually take my innocent looking SDK and ask if it's O.K to use my nicotine inhaler.. In these PC times not one person has said no yet!
Although I am careful not to create too much vapour..The questioning usually happens a bit later after the curiosity has overwhelmed them.
Edit: posted before finishing

Do the batteries pulse discharge? If so we could be looking at a similar issue to the EMR field produced around an old resistor type spark plug. Later spark plugs have a rubber shield... Much like the Ego/Riva.

Any coil with with an electrical current will produce a electro-magnetic field. It's unlikely that a a coil the size of an atomiser would create a large enough field to de-modulate an fm or digital radio wave even if it's just inches away. It certainly would'nt interfere with the VHF spectrum used in aircraft. However, loudspeakers are quite susceptible, if in very close proximity as they operate (to an extent) with a magnet which works in tandem with the voice coil. The voice coil vibrates to create the pressure changes we often hear as the drivel that is Rap & Westlife etc etc.

I employ the squirrel method. I like to travel light and free so carry only enough to fill my cheek and perhaps one spare battery. However the art is to conveniently stash supplies at locations around your territory ie in the car, desk or behind the bar.

I may well regret doing this but up for sale is my Clockworks Rebuildable Tank Atomiser in used but excellent condition. I haven't used this beauty enough to justify owning it.. She needs to go to a person that will appreciate her more. It is the Standard Clockworks RTA (Poly tank, ally tube & filler hole screw) Comes with: Approx 80cm of Kanthal and 20cm of 4 strand wicking. I will throw in 3 and a half A4 sheets of Super Fine #400 Stainless Steel Mesh @25 Micron. Usually £7.99 each.. An excellent wick, they also make a nice backdrop for photography Asking for £50 (postage included)

Same happened to my original black one, except it was at the other (battery cap) end. The glue holding the plastic cap to the spring plate had completely failed. I didn't notice when it happened and carried on using it for a while so there was potential for a bit of a shock. The 510 connector is also slightly on the wonk but this has been corrected in the slightly revised steel effect toob I purchased at a later date.
Like yourself, I was very gentle with the toob which I was almost exclusively using with a delicate tank. Anyway, I retraced my steps and found the end cap on the driveway where I'd previously parked , it'd been ravaged by tyres & gravel.
ECigWizard were very good in replacing the failed part. No questions were asked and it was sent out the same day.
P.S I'm tempted by the Provari too.. I noticed there's a Jan sale on at the Provape site. Only works out at about 105GBP not including postage from the U.S!

I'm sure there's a tablet he could take for that Gordy. i'll check my spam folder and forward one on *snigger* Well, now you two seemed to have stopped your sniggering.. All I'll say is, I used to wonder why Jason had chosen that particular logo for his vaping empire. It's 2 months today since I quit smoking and things have never been better. Not that it was bad before! Anyways, I'm off to watch the football and to do other manly pursuits such as drinking and swearing!
