James Garner... from The Rockford Files, Maverick, The Great Escape... etc

I always tried to be a little like him... laid back, laconic, nothing really troubled him, cool in a crisis, I failed miserably I should add, but if he was in a show, it was generally worth watching.

The other thing that absorbs me, is when you look up some of the actors and actresses, from TV and film, that you admire(d) on Wikepedia, and follow the links to the people that they worked with in their careers, so many have passed on that you didn't realise. Gets a bit scary.

Anyway RIP James and thanks.
