Hi guys,
I use the Evods but need to replace my hardware. I like the Evod clearomiser but I prefer the Ego battery. At least I think it's an ego, the one with the stand out button which is easier to find!
I like the look of the new Emow but will it fit an Ego battery?
Also are the replacement Emow heads the same as my Evod ones? I'm always buying the heads as they don't seem to last long!
Thanks for any replies.

The Emow heads are the dual coil type but you can probably use the single coils by adding another grommet to them as shown in the second picture by Super-Shiny in THIS THREAD.When you say the heads don't last long, how long do you mean? I change mine about once a week.

There are two types of common threads for tanks. 1. Ego threads - the ones you have on your EVOD. These devices thread onto the outside of your battery 2. 510 threads - the ones your charger will have. These screw into the inside of your battery
Mini tanks tend to use the ego while larger tanks tend towards the 510 threads. EVOD and EGO batteries support both thread types.
You can use the EMOW tanks no problem, or protanks, aerotanks, evods, etc.
Too be 100% sure when buying other tanks, just look for 510 or ego threads in their description.
As said above, a coil should last a week, perhaps more depending on how hard you hit them. Perhaps you'd like to look in to recoiling later.

thank you both for your replies.
thatguy, I find I have to change my head about twice a week, sometimes more! Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Some seem to last longer than others? Don't understand why some should be better than others as they are all the same. I get mine from myepack. They do delivery quick!

Ah I see. I use mainly joose's apple pie. Perhaps I should change it. So is it just the menthols or can I try other flavours for longer lasting heads?

Im not sure, ive had lots of juices but never use them long enough to find out ....lol.. i dont like many straight off the bat, someone else will have to advise on that, what i have found tho is, the few juices that i have are either Tobacco based or mint, if i use Tobacco based stuff my coils dont last long at all, its not such a big deal for those who use cotton and such as they can just pull the cotton out and dry burn them and clean them up a bit and re use them, i however use ceramic cup builds with silica, my coils are set down a little inside the cup and removing them and then trying to remove the silica normally trashes the coil anyway... there are other ways of doing it i guess but i dont bother..... im lazy ...lol

The factories churn them out in the hundreds so there's bound to be some which aren't as good as others. Order some of the microcoiled kanger heads from Jonco allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/42560/cotton-micro-coil-atomiser-rebuiltI've been using the same kanger head for over two months now. Because it's microcoiled with a cotton wick. Once a week I take out the cotton. Dry burn, rinse. Put more cotton in and off I go. There's videos to show how to do this, and it is extremely simple. Microcoils last an age.

Or you could have a go at doing them yourself molly . . . even I can manage that, though what I use will probably have the coiling aficionado's up in arms, but they do me. www.fasttech.com/products/1591806The sweeter the eliquid you use, the quicker your coils will clog up, as the sweetener caramelizes on the coils as it's heated.
