From what i remember the drip shield was made for 510 atomisers and not 306's as they had a small air hole on the side at the bottom and juice used to leak out, the drip shield used to catch that juice... i have a goodsense one which i actually bought just to use as a dress up option for cartomisers, see pic Not sure why the DCA was made tbh, however, the DCA was a far better option than the 306 drip tip which used to litteraly melt itself to the 306 coz of the heat.... they were a pain in the ass to get off.

I've got the provari one made by siam mods, with the matching drip tip, does look rather bling for a simple 306 but I quite like it. I do use other drippers but theres a lot to be said for a 306, you just wash off old juice and throw on new. Its what I choose to taste juices with. For dripping I've an ebarron and a grail but for bog standard --what does it taste of? its a 306 every time!

I do like the idea of 'cartomiser covers' as I use cartos quite often and it would be nice to just bling them up!

Ive got 3 Ebarons and thought they were great until i found out just recently that the insulator is specific to the Ebaron/Spiral range, you cant take an insulator from anything else and fit it in like you can with some run of the mill atties, and at £3.00 + £3.95 postage for a poxy little bit of rubber they can keep it so im just gonna move them on.....lol.. tbh im tired of rebuildables, im just gonna go back to the old way, less faff and happines

oh, thats a nuisance, you would think they would send them out for pennies. Do they fail much as I like my ebaron? I made a decision not to get too into rebuilds. I do my protanks but I won't move upwards from my protank 1's as single coils are nice and easy. I like recoiling ceramic cups so my ebaron, grail, divers and killers all use same system, so thats fine and I like my spheroids. I dont think I'm interested in anything else? this bunch of set-ups suits me

I dont really know how long they last tbh, i think its just a luck of the draw type thing, but if you do need one you are a faced with paying around 8 quid, ive got principles here and im sticking to them ....lol.. plus, house of mods ony have about 3 in stock and whenever they are out of stock with something it seems to take them yonks to get stuff back in, ... i cant help think that somewhere along the line im gonna end up stuck if i rely on them... Ive just ordered an Xplora so im hoping that is ok, if not im going back to the old school stuff for sure

xplorer is same design as the spheroids (at half the price) so I'm sure you'll like them! I do ...I have 4 of them ...

says me who happily vapes on my protank 1's,when everything else fails me. I'm sure they deserve a space in a vape museum? -- but they never let me down! I'll be in tears when the chrome rubs off I tell you!

Get one while you can, they are like hens teeth to find in stainless steel, there used to be alloy ones kicking about that were crap, SS is the better one... I paid a whole lot more for mine than what this guy is charging ... www.vapor-freak.de/zubehoer/Drip-Tips-306/Drip-Shield

This is really dredging my fading memory banks now . . . but as far as I recall, drip shields were originally made for 901 atomisers, which are just about antiques now in vaping terms. At the time I thought my 901 threaded GGTB, one of the first of the production run, was the bees knees with a Drip Shield atop of it. I still think it's quite a pretty set up.

yes, very attractive Perpetua. Do you still dust off your retro stuff and use some of your early gear? I still say when all else fails - grab a carto!

Thanks Pepperty . . . must admit that I haven't for a good while now, my GGTB & GGTS are both dismantled and tucked up in the Apocalypse Box. 2 devices I can't ever see myself parting with though. Though I have recently dusted off my V1 Darwin and am using that with an adapter, in an endeavour to use up some of the 100+ 901 atomisers I bought. Which at the time was considered to be fugly . . . I liked it's utilitarian look:
