Njoys and a bad weekend

Rushing to leave home friday, got a 50 ml bottle of juice out to take with me but left it on the worktop, so arrived at holiday home with 2mls to last all weekend, no problem I thought, local Sainsburys sell a huge range. I managed to ration my juice out to Saturday then went to Sainsburys. The girl tried to be helpful but did not have a clue, she placed what she said was juice in my bag, costing me £4 but on arrival home it was an Njoy red, that lasted a whole 3 hours with no taste before it died, next day climbing the walls with no nicoteen went back to sainsburys, different girl but still no clue, and very hesitant to show me each cigalike so I could decide, so ended up with a Njoy Gold, I could taste that, but after 2 hours was dead. There is no chance of people converting to vaping while we have clueless staff and s&&t products that are valueless.

I normally vape at 12mg, but since last night been on 18mg to top up, so from a shaking wreck.........to a shaking wreck lol, but least I'm happy now.

You might have done better just buying some juice? Home & Bargain and B&M (high street shop) sell eliquids and basic ego and cigalike kits ( £6.99 for ego starter pack) and poundland sell the throway ecigs for 99p

I must admit on my recent week long outing I spent more time fussing with my vape gear than I did my suitcase! but thats because I'm not yet at the 'take it or leave it' vape stage - although my cravings are miniscule compared to when I smoked

I was away in Torquay this weekend, 2 Vaping shops on the high street and E-cigs (Ego's + CE4's) being sold in loads of places. Where did you go? The Outer Hebrides?

I would google Sainsburys chief exec if I were you and complain to him rather than ranting on here. Name store/time you were there. Inaccurate or wrong information about e-cigs anywhere is simply unacceptable

Google is your friend when you are somewhere you don't know. Just do a search of 'e-cigs Outer Hebrides' and im sure there will be something within 100 miles.

There are no sainsburys in the outer Hebrides, There is a tesco and co-op.
I lived there (Isle of Lewis) for 7 years and moved from Lewis 4 years ago.
There is however a fantastic (it sell everything) shop called Aladdins Cave which I'm almost certain has jumped on the E-Cig band wagon. Also Co-op in Oban now sells a couple of baccy juices and a menthol as well as cigalike starter kits £19.99

I canny believe that in Oban we now have the co-op, 1 petrol station, 2 little (sell it all) shops and a convenience store that all sell juice and some kind of vaping gear. mental for such a small town and yet I have so far only seen a couple of tourists vaping.
I gave a vaping lecture 101 to a couple from the east coast at the pub on Friday as the lady exclaimed (Look, he's got a massive one !!! ) The lady had a spinner and the guy had a very sorry looking Innokin V3 which was out of charge so they were sharing. BUT, they were using Iclear 16D clearos (which i didn't know about). i let them both have a go on the vamo and svd with iclear 30's Minotaur and Colonel Custard which they went WOW, and then showed them all about dripping with the trident and various juices I had in my little bag. They were V impressed and hopefully will be joining the forum when they get back home. Judi and Chris where there names from Fife i believe.

Anyway.

I'm Mrs Vaping advocate here in the granite city. Always giving vape cards out to smokers (most of which don't want them anymore)

I play spot the vaper most days when in town. Current high is 4 ...all with egos + CE4's.

Lots of places sell vape stuff in the granite city but I like Cameron's place cos he has cake (free)

Gail says she see's people vaping outside the coffee shops when she walks past sometimes.  again, tourists.
I have ever only seen ONE person vaping in the street and I was quick to pull him aside and introduce myself.  He also said he would find me on this forum but never heard from him.
Apparently Dalmally has quite a strong vaping community  . . .. .   apparently.
It would appear as though I am a lone pup up here on the west coast.

PS: gail gave up on the whole idea and doesn't even ask for my ego anymore and when I suggest she "try this flavor" it's screwed up face time followed by a NO.  Pity as everytime we have a beer i have to endure her smoke !!!

Well it's gone bit off topic, but thats what forums are for, I was in unfortunate posistion, knew of B & M store not so far away, but no car and appaling public transport, kept my nicoteen levels low though, who knows another 2 days may have been a non vaper lol.
