Coming up on the resistance checker fine. Just davide mega getting mega hot and battery getting hot
so conclude am shorting it LOL

Drama over with.... Boy that gave me a fright... Prior to this the only mod that's survived shorts has been the magneto  Have dropped VTR a little but nothing like my class drops of the vamo LOL PS. Can someone please care to remind me how hot the VTR should be getting. Was just the base of the davide then I checked and noticed the battery was hot? |

I think I have finally found a fix  When you rewick a protank2/davide mega head you make sure the wick goes in the outside channel (between the base and the head) - otherwise it shorts LOL |

My VTR gets warm/hot around the aerotank.
The battery may get warm if you have a 5 min session but shouldn't get hot.
Also the vtr shouldn't fire if there is a short and has a 5 amp limit so I don't think you would have shorted the battery, even if the atty was shorting.

My VTR only gets warm when I'm chain-chugging @ high Watts. Anything over 10Watts does seem to make a little heat, but not enough to worry about. Kinda like holding a warm hand is all.
