18650 batts

I've just bought a efest purple 18650 and it's about 2mm taller than my aw 18650. So it won't fit In my vtr. I thought they came in a standard size.

I have the purple Efest 18650 30amp and although it is a couple of mm. longer it fits fine in my VTR ???

Yeh my purple efest fit perfectly. Your not the only one that has said this though. I think @johanino had problems when she bought purple efest's for the VTR.

All I can think is maybe the VTR's are made on several production lines and at least one of the lines makes a shorter battery compartment. ???

I've really tried to cram it in but no joy. It's a nipple top. The top does look slightly wonky.

I had probs with a few efest type things and VTR not fitting (too loose) - think they were the black ones

Now I use green batteries - let me find the link
