Right, this isn't exactly a problem that is putting me off or anything, its more of just an annoyance. What happens, 9 out of 10 times, is that when I unscrew the nautilus to clean it or top it up with juice etc etc, the coil head gets stuck in the upper hardware, instead of the bottom hardware where the AFC ring is and such. It gets stuck in there really tight, so I wasn't sure if I was just over-tightening it, but its not as if the tank itself is too tight to unscrew, so I didn't think it was this. The head gets stuck so tight I'm having to gently use a pair of light pliers to unscrew it a little, until it becomes possible to unscrew by hand. I was just wondering if there is a common fix for this issue? It sounds like something that could easily be avoided, but I'm not sure what it is I'm doing wrong. The only reason I'm bothered about this is because A) I'm scared that I might end up applying too much pressure when using the pliers and end up causing damage to the coil, and B) if I'm out and about, and something happens that means I have to disassemble the nautilus, I don't want to have to carry pliers around everywhere with me, or else be stuck without a vape. Any and all suggestions are welcome, thank you

Mine does the same callumcutter1 - the coil unscrews with the base, but I do like it and the spare coil I put in my big Nautilus and that is where the BVC coil really makes a difference. I am reserving my final verdict until I see how long they last

Get some rubber gloves from Aldi - 59p - and cut them up. Or don't if you like. Grips like a woman on your wallet.

The thing is, when I was using the original BDC coils, if they got stuck in the top hardware, I could screw my bottom hardware on no problem. But with these new BVC coils, it seems like they HAVE to be in the bottom hardware before you assemble it

Just put them together finger tight not with the grip of he-man like you usually do failing that buggritt s idea of using rubber gloves is a good one as they aid the grip no end. Plus you get the added advantage of being able to wear them first and pretend you're a crime fighter

An old punctured inner tube out of a bike works well, you could probably get 40 out of one tube. Just cut straight across the tube in 1 inch sections. One old tube should last a lifetime
