If you're thinking of importing batteries from outside the EU to sell, you effectively take on all the responsibilities as the manufacturer. You must do your due diligence....check that CE certificates are genuine, get batteries independently safety tested in the UK. Get some decent, ecig/ battery specific product liability insurance. We have recently sent samples of the Aspire CF range of batteries for testing. Order samples first and use and abuse them. Kanger, Innokin, Vision and Aspire are a good start. It's always nice to support home grown products, and there are some fantastic mod makers in the uk.

Glass evods are good cheap clearos and no worry about tank cracking eliquids. Anything more expensive - stock only glass and SS and that means Kanger. If your going to sell Vamos I would avoid KSD. Just my opinion - its your shop. For rebuildables perhaps Youde (they make some good stuff but some damp squibs too). Good luck.

Smok have recently brought out a 2000 mAh vv/vw ego twist style battery - I can't find a single UK stockist I'd seriously be interested if you had those in the full range of colours available.

For tanks for me I'd agree with the others kanger, aspire but if your considering smok the trophy v2 is an interesting alternative to the protank 2/3 ..most retailers stock kanger etc but smok isn't that widely available as the others so might be an idea

Could you explain a little more please? If there are any issues I'm currently unaware of I'll definitely look into it. We are familiar with SOGA but if you could be a little more specific it'll save me re-reading sections that are irrelevant to what you're talking about. Sounds interesting anyway. Looking forward to reading your reply

The Davide Mega looks pretty similar to the Protank. Do you know of any advantages to that particular model over the Kanger? If not we'd be more likely to go with the more well known brand. Interesting suggestion though; I'd not heard of it before (looks to be made by Anyvape by the way). I'm using the VTR these days too. It's alright with the iClear 30S that it came with but I can't help feeling these's a better tank out there for it. What do you use? I'll be watching a RiP Trippers review of the SMOK Magneto on YouTube after posting this Very helpful post anyway, thank you

more durable in my humble opinion. That is the difference between an anyvape clearo and a kanger one. I know some folk who won't go anywhere near any kanger clearos cos they leak!!!

An interesting thread, and great that a vendor is canvassing for opinions and advice; shows good business sense to me!! I am a Kanger fan, having a clutch of Protank v1s and a PT v3, plus a handful of Mini Protanks which my wife uses. I haven't ventured further into their range as a) I can microcoil and rewick the heads that I have, vastly improving the factory heads, and b) they do the job I want them to do - no need to spend more if that's the case. I would suggest as wide as range as possible to cater for all tastes, but I appreciate the need to keep things under control. Maybe start with 4 or 5 makes, and see what transpires over time. A good stock of 18xxx batteries would be good too; many of us use 3rd gen mods which required these, and they are sometimes dismissed as being top end, but with good prices you should do well with them. I'll keep watching this thread, and add more (hopefully useful!) comments if the need arises. Best of luck, and thanks again for asking

I might do this more often when I've got a decision to make. I think we'll probably just start with 3 or 4 models and a modest range of tanks and accessories to see how they sell first. No point stocking up on something we might end up stuck with (although I'm fairly optimistic, you cant be too careful). Our main business is e-liquid but it makes sense to sell hardware too, and it makes even more sense to ask you guys what you like best! Thanks for the advice and opinions
