This won't be for everyone, but if you have a DNA or Kick or thinking about making or buying one of the next version of the Innokin SVD you may be interested. I am just watching 3 videos by PBusardo about Evolv, Evolv & Innokin collaboration, their production facilities, history and interesting facts like how their boards are water/juice proofed: and know some of you may be interested. I'm looking forward to the next generations of DNA as they will be getting smaller as their new machinery can use the extremely small components and I think they will all have reverse battery protection going forward. It would bee cool if they did a bluetooth Kick you could adjust with your phone.

Sounds like they are doing the new Provari boards, I think the little board on Johns Desk may be headed to a European mod maker. The big new thing is temperature control, but not realy clear what that might mean yet. My best guess is the electronics will prevent a dry burn, it wouldn't be that hard to Have the board be able to identify a coil starting to glow.
Curious, as they don't make atomizers, why did he have a air flow meter on the work top? Are they going to convert fuel injectors for juice delivery? He mentioned car makers somewhere Along the line...........

markm the airflow metre could just be for testing with existing tanks maybe to see when wicking failed or to set up a repeatable load on a real world vaporiser as like you I didn't see any evidence that they were gearing up their machining shop. I can't think how they will do temperature control with a sensor or a specific heating element.

Temp control either needs to be an output or input. If it's an input then that can only come from a 510 with two terminal connection. All I can imagine they could do that way is sense a resistance drop from an overheating coil. Not desperately exciting, but ads to safety. On the other hand if it's an output then that could be as simple as renaming Wattage control And putting a heating scale on the display, not particularly innovative.
I suspect the airflow measuring is a generation or three down the line of innovation.

I don't think that they would build airflow monitoring in and only see it as valuable for testing kit, especially temp regulated prototypes.
If you have a coil made from a material that changes resistance with temperature (most metals) it seems theoretically possible to monitor the coil temp, but calibrating it without another sensor would be another matter. We don't know, but it will be interesting although I initially thought what's the point having the same temp between dual and single, fat and thin wicks & coils makes a lot of sense because the wattage would be vastly different.
