So I have given mixing a go for the first time and I have to say it seems to have been a success. I have so far made 4 flavours, all in 6mg with 30pg/70vg mix. I have used 15% flavouring in each and they actually taste better than expected. Strawberry milkshake tastes just like the yazoo variant in the local corner shop and is smooth and produces a huge amount of vapour Vanilla deluxe is even smoother and sweet, which I like, and again fills the room with vapour every time Apple sourz is nice, albeit a little overpowering, and tastes like alcohol but with only a hint of apple. It does almost make you cringe like a shot of the real thing I have made some vanilla custard with some extra vanilla deluxe added which I will leave for as long as possible before trying but it smells lovely! All in all I am quite pleased with the results. The next mixes might need to be a 50/50 though as liquid seems a little thick and I think will wreck my coils fairly quickly.....

Well done jmw2309 if you find the apple sourz a bit strong on taste try adding a little more pg it will dilute the flavour and nic content but doubt if you'll notice the lower nic as long as you only add a small amount around .5ml to 10ml to start. The apple also may take longer to come through give it a few more days. You have used a high vg ratio I tend to mix at 50/50 now but it's all personal taste which is the beauty of mixing.

jmw2309 VG heavy mixes don't wreck your coils ( they're all I use ) but the amount of sweetener you add or that a concentrate contains, will shorten the lifespan. As the sweetener when heated will caramelize on the coil. But if you enjoy the vape, then it might be worth considering recoiling your own?

I stopped using sweetener as I decided if I was making up toffee or vanilla etc. it should be sweet enough and I can't see why I'd need to sweeten fruit, I don't even put sugar with stewed rhubarb. Dave

DaveHard core you are Dave. Though I don't use much sweetener in mixes must be honest, if I do, at most it's 1% . . . Vanillin tends to be my most widely used additive.
