To be honest Bez the ready made Colonel Custard is OK, quite nice, it was the first custard I tried too. I bought the concentrate and mixed it at 15%, 20% and 25% and I felt severely let down by it, even at 25% it is very bland, the taste is there, but only just and is nothing like the ready made! It's a shame realy as all the other T-juice concentrates i've tried so far are great and taste fine.

Another kind member on here is sending me a sample of Grants custard and a couple of others that should be a real treat.

You can have what's left of my Colonel Custard concentrate Bez , I have around 4ml left in the bottle (I won't be using it) should be more than enough if you fancy trying it out for yourself, PM me your address and i'll gladly send it on. I've not tried GVC yet but another great custard and a firm favourite of mine is SteamGunks Captain Custard HERE at Chefsvapour.co.uk ...... OM NOM NOM

I was hoping that mixing the Colonel Custard at the recommended rate was going to taste like the premix. I'm going to try some other premixed brands and maybe look at some other recipes when I have better experience of mixing more complex flavours.

Mixing isn't hard and don't get put off, just stick to a good mix calculator and the recommended percentages and you can't go wrong. You should give the Custardy Lovechild recipe a go, it really is lush after a 6 weeks or longer steep, deffo worth the wait!

Tried Chefs vapour custard at my local vape shop and found it rather sickly - too sweet of a taste. I'm going to get my mix of Red Astaire right then I will move onto my favourite custard. Looking forward to trying Grants custard when that arrives.
