I've got quite a few dead atties, mainly 901/4075's & a few 510's. If they are any good to anyone just shout. Completely free to anyone in the UK but would appreciate something towards P&P costs if you are outside the UK :-)
I may also have a couple of dead batteries, 901's & 4081's.

Good morning Chrissie. Forgive me for asking but what could be done with them?

Forgive me answering, but I'm here People like Garry Dibley use them for screw fittings in items like the Pass Through, so that their "mods" will be compatible with the stuff from China. They may use other parts as well, I don't know. scylla

And Mr Dibley would have got the whole lot free if he had bothered to answer my email. Scylla is right Marj, there are a lot of people out there that create or just experiment, making there own battery holders & the screw fittings from dead batteries can be used for the different connections. I'm guessing that people like Garry will also use cut down atties for his 901 to 510 adapters etc. Mind you I have just seen that Toby has opened a mod shop selling the threads quite cheaply. www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/acccessories/mod-shop.html

Maybe that's why Garry doesn't need us any more? scylla

Maybe so Scylla, but the dozen or so that i offered Garry for free would have still saved him some money. Plus I hate the thought of throwing something away that could be useful to someone.

He doesn't seem to ever reply to his emails. A while ago, someone posted on one of Garry's threads on ECF saying he hadn't replied to an email query.

Bump.
These are still up for grabs if they are of any use to anyone.

Chrissie it may be an idea to try the UK TW forum before the ECF as a lot of people just get completely lost on the ECF now

I've hardly ever posted in the TW forum - apart from moaning about a couple of things I did get a reply from Garry on an ECF thread of his, saying thanks but no thanks as he was no longer maker the adapters.

*Eek* I've got LOADS to send Garry, hoping he would forgive me for sending back the Little Gem so late, and mend the button on my passthru, if I chuck in all the batteries and atties "for free". He was offering 50p each at one time. Now I'm bugga'd scylla
